Conservative rocker Ted Nugent on Tuesday lashed out at what he called a liberal "gang of punks" on the Internet for accusing him of being a draft dodger, a racist, and a pedophile.

On Tuesday edition of Newsmax's Mid-point, Nugent explained how excited he was to join host Ed Berliner for an interview.

"My American dream glows so vibrantly, I might squirt through the phone and stain the entire listening audience. God bless America!" Nugent exclaimed.

"That would be awfully messy," Berliner noted. "I mean, the paper towels we would need would be horrible."

"You would need more than that," Nugent quipped. "I'd recommend an Olympic-sized down-filled comforter with a couple of large friends of mine with Louisville Sluggers to ram it elsewhere. My point being, I'm here to share my effervescence because I'm addicted to truth, logic, common sense and the American way."

Berliner began by saying that he appreciated Nugent's Outdoor Channel show Spirit of the Wild, but he did not understand why the rocker had to hunt mountain lions.

"Why did you have to kill the mountain lion?" the Newsmax host wondered. "It wasn't hurting you."

"When was the last time sushi hurt you?" Nugent shot back. "You don't use that silliness for a determining factor for balanced biodiversity."

According to Nugent, "harvesting surplus mountain lions every year" was saving tax dollars because "government shooters" would not have to do it.

"Did you eat the mountain lion?" Berliner pressed.

"The meat in a mountain lion, that's the other white mean," Nugent insisted.

When it came to his political views, Nugent said that his rhetoric was "over the edge" because people like President Barack Obama and NBC anchor Brian Williams had created a "goofy planet of the apes America."

According to the Motor City Madman, there were a "gang of punks" on the Internet that monitored everything he did.

"And they literally will put quotes around words that never came out of my mouth," he said, citing Democratic Texas state Sen. Wendy Davis' campaign for governor.

"Before we kicked her ass royal," he opined. "Her entire campaign was attacking and lying about me, calling me a draft dodger. I'm not. Calling me a racist. I'm not. Calling me a pedophile, Ed. I'm not."

The "pedophile" charge was most likely referring to a 1998 VH1 documentary where Nugent said that he had a history with young girls.

“I was addicted to girls. It was hopeless. It was beautiful,” Nugent said at the time. “I got the stamp of approval of their parents… I guess they figured better Ted Nugent than some drug-infested punk in high school.”

In the song "Jailbait," Nugent sang about his affection for young girls: "Well, I don't care if you're just 13 / You look too good to be true."

Nugent told Berliner that "the left" often twisted things, including the "hands up, don't shoot" protests against police violence, which he likened to "bend over, don't spank."

"Pick a fantasy, pick a lie and cling to it," he declared. "The government lies through their teeth, and I couldn't be more proud they hate me like they do."

Nugent concluded by saying that it was time to get back to sharpening arrows, "and my shafts are very, very pointy."
