The Majority Report's Sam Seder dissects Fox's Stuart Varney's appearance on Gretchen Carlson's show this Tuesday, where Varney made the claim that extending unemployment benefits "won't make any difference to the economy one way or the other."
Varney accused the Democrats of just wanting to play politics to make the Republicans look "harsh" and unconcerned about the unemployed, as though they need any help in that department. As Sam noted during the segment above, say goodbye to so-called "compassionate conservatism." They aren't even pretending any more.
