A child in North Carolina spent part of his Easter Sunday morning protesting outside a Winston-Salem church that has vowed not to host any wedding ceremonies until same sex marriage is legalized.

Kelly Carpenter, the pastor of Green Street United Methodist Church, said last month that no weddings were being scheduled because his congregation was becoming more diverse and the heterosexual members wanted same sex couples to “share a sense of the love that they have found.”

Anti-LGBT activist Brian Cranford, who says that the "Lord has called Me specifically into evangelism Street ministry," on Sunday posted a YouTube video of an unidentified child standing outside Green Street Church and yelling at the congregation as they exited after Easter services.

"You have your chance to repent, to stop your sinning, to quit affirming the gay people!" the kid shouts in the eight-minute video clip. "The Bible talks about the homosexuals, they're worthy of death!"

"And you people approve of that! And that's why you're going to hell! You can turn from your sin. You can turn to Jesus or go to hell!"

Vice President Joe Biden is trying to assure survivalists and those preparing for doomsday that they will still be able to protect themselves in case of disaster even if assault weapons are banned because shotguns are more effective weapons for defense.

During a Google Hangout discussion about gun control, YouTube video blogger Philip DeFranco asked the vice president why an assault weapons ban was necessary if the number of murders had gone down since the Public Safety and Recreational Firearms Use Protection Act temporarily banning some military-style rifles expired in 2004.

"So what would you say to the people who say, yes, you are infringing on our rights, not for sporting or for hunting, but in California, everyone talks about the big earthquake or some terrible natural disaster as a last line of defense," DeFranco wondered. "What would you say to those people?"

"A shotgun will keep you a lot safer -- a double-barreled shotgun -- than the assault weapons in somebody's hands that doesn't know how to use it, even one that does know how to use it," Biden advised. "You know, it's hard to use an assault weapon and hit something than it is a shotgun."

"If you want to keep people away in an earthquake, buy some shotgun shells," he added. "I'm must less concerned quite frankly about what you would call an assault weapon than I am about magazines and the number of rounds that can be held in a magazine."

The CEO of a Tennessee company that specializes in weapons and tactical training is threatening to "start killing people" if President Barack Obama moves forward with gun control measures.

In a video posted to YouTube and Facebook on Wednesday, Tactical Response CEO James Yeager went ballistic over reports that the president could take executive action with minor gun control measures after the mass shooting of 20 school children in Connecticut last month.

After the Drudge Report likened Obama to Adolf Hitler and Joseph Stalin on Wednesday, pro-gun conservatives expressed outrage over the idea that the White House could act without Congress.

"Vice President [Joe] Biden is asking the president to bypass Congress and use executive privilege, executive order to ban assault rifles and to impose stricter gun control," Yeager explained in his video message. "Fuck that."

"I'm telling you that if that happens, it's going to spark a civil war, and I'll be glad to fire the first shot. I'm not putting up with it. You shouldn't put up with it. And I need all you patriots to start thinking about what you're going to do, load your damn mags, make sure your rifle's clean, pack a backpack with some food in it and get ready to fight."

The CEO concluded: "I'm not fucking putting up with this. I'm not letting my country be ruled by a dictator. I'm not letting anybody take my guns! If it goes one inch further, I'm going to start killing people."

As The Atlantic noted on Wednesday, gun advocates can stop "freaking out" because Obama cannot ban assault weapons or close the gun show loophole without Congress.

The president, however, can take small steps like modernizing the background check system and limiting importation of assault rifles.

By Thursday morning, the video promising violence in response to gun control measures had been removed from Yeager's YouTube page, but the link had not been removed from Facebook.

Calls to Yeager and Tactical Response were not returned by the time of publication.

A Philadelphia police officer has been caught on video allegedly punching a woman in the face after she appeared to throw water on him during the city's Puerto Rican Day Parade over the weekend.

Video of the incident dated Sept. 30, 2012 was uploaded by YouTube user Gisela Valentin on Sunday.

The clip shows the unnamed woman tossing water in the air in the direction of a group of police officers. A second person also throws water in their direction.

One officer in a white shirt runs over to the woman and punches her in the face as she's walking away, laying her flat on her back.

"Oh, s--t!" a bystander can be heard saying.

The woman is immediately handcuffed as other officers create a perimeter around the scene. The woman can be seen bleeding from her mouth as an officer in a blue shirt leads her away.

"Over 1,500 participants, including performers, local celebrities, youth groups" gathered in Philadelphia on Sunday to celebrate Puerto Rican and Latino heritage, according to the Greater Philadelphia Tourism Marketing Corporation.

This clip of a curvaceous and big-haired 19 year old Jennifer Granholm went viral this week on YouTube.

The buzz surrounding former Michigan Gov. Jennifer Granholm about her enthusiastic speech to the Democratic National Convention may shift this week as a long-lost copy of her 1978 appearance on “The Dating Game” surfaced on YouTube.

“Let’s give a hand for the cute and curvaceous Jennifer Granholm,” the show’s host, Jim Lange says as a 19-year-old Granholm, complete with big, blonde, Farrah Fawcett-like hair comes on stage to meet her three bachelors.

Marty Nislick, 67, of Bayside, N.Y., told the Free Press he came across the footage on the Facebook page of a friend who was one of the losing contestants on the show with Granholm.

“I’m a Democrat of the liberal persuasion and I have always admired Jennifer Granholm,” he said. “And she was 19 years old, so I think she could be excused for being on a stupid show.”

Granholm took the sudden Internet attention in good humor. Her former spokeswoman Liz Boyd sent her a link to the clip. After watching it, Granholm said: “I’m still laughing so hard my stomach still hurts.”

This one seems really dumb as the National Football League seems to be saying Chrysler infringed on its copyright of "Halftime." Another odd thing about this is that there are plenty of other versions still to be found at YouTube, but the official one at the YouTube Chrysler channel was taken down.

But the political overtones were easy to see as well: “Halftime in America” could be interpreted as a rallying call for a second term for President Barack Obama, who pushed ahead with a bailout of Chrysler and General Motors (read more on GM’s financial results on WSJ.com) despite objections from Republicans, including his likely presidential opponent, Mitt Romney.

“Saving the America Auto Industry: Something Eminem and Clint Eastwood can agree on,” tweeted Dan Pfeiffer, the White House spokesman. Added David Axelrod, Obama’s chief strategist: “Powerful spot.” Filmmaker Michael Moore was a bit more direct (and apologies for the Twitterese): “Your sermon seemed 2 b a call 2 give O his ‘second half.’”

The former Republican mayor of Carmel, Calif. wasn’t universally loved. “WTH? Did I just see Clint Eastwood fronting an auto bailout ad???” said Michelle Malkin, the conservative blogger. “I think Clint Eastwood’s credentials as a conservative have been overrated for some time,” added David Limbaugh, the brother of Rush and himself a conservative author.

Despite the attempt by the Egyptian government to shut down the Internet throughout the country, a a harrowing video montage of home video from the chaotic streets of Cairo. has surfaced on YouTube

The protests began on Tuesday, January 25, when thousands of people blocked the streets to sound off about unemployment, government corruption, and the autocratic rule of President Hosni Mubarak, who has been in office for thirty years.

The protests were inspired, in part, by the recent uprising in Tunisia, which began because of widespread anger over corruption and unemployment and ended with the ousting of president and strongman Zine El Abidine Ben Ali.

The video was created by Tamer Shaaban, described on YouTube as "another Egyptian who's had enough."

PHILLIPS: What would we do without it? The funny, the zany, the outrageous videos on YouTube, but there is a darker, sinister side that you probably don't know about: radical Islamic groups apparently using YouTube to recruit young terrorists. CNN's Nic Robertson has this alarming story.

(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)

NIC ROBERTSON, CNN CORRESPONDENT (voice-over): It is as simple and scary as this: YouTube videos as a connection between young men and gun-toting radicals.

BEN VENZKE, CEO, INTELCENTER: YouTube is sort of -- could be that first hit for some people simply because of the mere scale and size of it. But it's going to be just that initial hit, and then they're going to move on into deeper levels.

ROBERTSON: Pakistani police say it's exactly what happened in the case of five Americans arrested there. Police say the men, aged from 18 to 25, were on their way to terror training camps.

But why would an average youngster even look at a radical video?

PAUL CRUICKSHANK, NEW YORK UNIVERSITY CENTER ON LAW & SECURITY: A friend might encourage the kid to look at a YouTube video. He visits the site. He sees the video is well produced; it's compelling. He sees there are lots of comments on the site, all of them in English, and soon he starts commenting, as well.

ROBERTSON: After that, it's a very slippery slope, say terror experts. Extremists are watching online chats, looking for potential new recruits.

VENZKE: It sort of provides a filtering opportunity for them. They are able to sort of push out their message, see who responds to it.

ROBERTSON: It's getting the conversation and the videos together that's making the difference. According to CIA veteran Marc Sageman, no one ever got radicalized watching videos alone.

MARC SAGEMAN, FORMER CIA OPERATIVE: YouTube, the various videos that are posted, are very important in terms of seeing them. But then it's really discussing their significance with your friends that, in a sense, drives the point home as opposed to just watching them.

ROBERTSON (on camera): What's making YouTube such a powerful tool for the Internet radicalizers is the built-in social networking media. Look at this: Revolution Muslim, an American group, 296 subscribers. Look at those subscribers here.
