Grayson has recently found a novel approach to fundraising, using a photoshop from a blogger to stick a fork in the eye of his opponents. From The Hill:

This is the the picture Alan Grayson's campaign office e-mailed to supporters recently, soliciting contributions for his re-election campaign.

The picture, of course, is a spoof of the upcoming movie "The Invention of Lying," in which Ricky Gervais becomes the first person to discover dishonesty. Grayson's implication is that he's the first politician to speak the truth.

Grayson has been doubling down on his firebrand liberalism in the last few weeks after controversially accusing Republicans of wanting the sick to "die quickly."

Rep. Alan Grayson is a blowhard who uses hyperbolic rhetoric to make a point and get people to do what he wants.

In short, he is a member of the House of Representatives. This is what they're elected to do, and this is how they best do their job in representing the people back in their districts.

We expect senators to be cool-headed, but Representatives are supposed to be rabble rousers, at least when dealing with their fellow representatives.

(Shouting ``You Lie!'' at a formal state speech is, of course, not even close to the concept of parliamentary debate. And we all know who else used hyperbole)
