President Obama reads from "Where The Wild Things Are"
By scarce Monday Apr 13, 2009 3:00pmThe President and First Family attended the annual White House Easter Egg Roll. President Obama read to a group of gathered children the classic Where the Wild Things Are by Maurice Sendak.
Perhaps it is being struck by the contrast between his predecessor reading My Pet Goat, or that I'm just waiting for the Spike Jonze film version to come out in the fall that this somehow seems noteworthy.

It has been so long since we have seen a normal family doing normal things in the White House. The Republican's have been so out dated in their outlook in international and national affairs that it's fresh to get a new outlook on the agenda. If we go back to the Great Depression...we will find the same individuals, families, corporations, Yale alumni, Scull and Bone members with their gross mismanagement running America into the ground. Let's look at the financial crises of the 70's; 80's; 90's; 2000 and today...and we will find the same Bush Dynasty and friends lurking in the background. Why haven't we done a line by line evaluation of these crooks. Why do they get tax breaks, loans and great financial opportunities at the expense of the average American people. Then we have the "good" old boy network from the South...that has been more dangeous than any terrorist group. It's time to brind down this deck of cards before we have another "Great Depression" with the assistance of the Republican Party. Why haven't the economist, history professionals evaluated these crooks and named them in court?
Remember, this country is not to be govern by Liars and Crooks that the Republican Party has been promoting for over sixty (60-years).
