Finally, after years of obfuscation and euphemism by our Versailles Traditional Media, a great wall has been broken down. During a debate at MSNBC about whether the current Administration should uphold the Rule of Law and conduct investigations of Dick Cheney's secret-from-Congress intel programs, Marcy Wheeler (Emptywheel) provided the taboo word at the center of the Ken Starr investigation, by saying BLOWJOB on television.
The only thing I'll add is that it would be a damn shame if the powers that be used this as an excuse to keep Marcy off their GE-controlled network.
especially when Boosh crimes can be prosecuted. that's what the media and the repugs fear. we know it won't happen, we can hope for the growth of a spine among the Dems, but as long as they serve corporations, we will never see justice. That is for certain.
