It's not easy running for mayor of New York City with the republican anvil hanging around your neck. Just ask Joe Lhota, who in his debate with Democrat Bill de Blasio said this last night:
JOE LHOTA: “I am pro-choice; they are not. I am pro-gay rights as well as marriage equality; they are not. I have been outspoken about these issues over and over again."
"Do not lump me with the national Republicans. It’s unbecoming.”
