BP losing the Twitter wars

A fake Twitter account is skewering BP for its handling of the oil crisis. CNN's Josh Levs reports.

Here are some examples from BPGlobalPR at #bpcares. The anonymous satirist recently donated $10,000 to the Gulf Restoration Network.

one starts out laughing only leading to a somber realization that the entire oil disaster is really serious. but its at times like these that we need moments to laugh and take our minds off the serious things.

This disaster is far worse than the authorities are admitting or talking about, I'm glad to see that there are professional scientists who have snuck in and dived or otherwise used autonomous vehicles to actually examine the extent of this horrific act of ecoterrorism.

This may be the very beginning of a brand new net neutrality war. Once the money figures out what needs to be done don't think they won't kick it into high gear.

We need to be ready, I know we have seen some attempts to corprotize the web and some have already been put into place against us. But now it's going to be a real fight because BP is getting their ass kicked and when big money hurts, we all feel some of the pain.

BP says this new cap device is working , it's capturing fifty percent of the oil , isn't that great ? In other words this oil will continue to gush into the gulf until at least mid August , *note* that's best case and if they score a bull's eye on the first try with the relief well drilling .

Insanity , it is what it is , there is no understanding it .

Funny how they clearly and precisely point out which web site is the fake and which is BP's real site. They don't seemed to concerned about informing the public when a corporation or right wing org. sets up a misleading web site. Why is that? hmmm.
