CNN Reports on the Barack the Magic Negro CD Distributed by RNC Chairman Wanna' Be

Don Lemon talks to Reid Wilson and Lynn Sweet about the CD distributed by Chip Saltsman which included the Barack the Magic Negro song. The absolute tone deafness out of Saltsman is pretty astounding given that the GOP pretends that they would like to figure out how to improve race relations within their ranks and with voters and become more inclusive. This just set them back a step as noted by Wilson and Sweet. If they want be the party that embraces Rush Limbaugh and his racist "jokes" I look forward to them continuing to shrink those red spots on the electoral map until there's little or nothing left of them.
Over at MSNBC another African American news anchor, Tamron Hall, was not quite as reserved as Don Lemon on CNN with her criticism of the CD and portraying it as a "parody". She let conservative pundit Kate Obershain know just how listening to this garbage made her feel as reported by Think Progress.
Full transcript and video of Hall from Think Progress below the fold.
LEMON: OK, well, it is no laughing matter. It is a parody. It's a CD given out by Chip Saltsman. He's a Republican in the race to be the head of the GOP, and it is generating quite a controversy. Here's just a few seconds of it.
(VIDEO CLIP)
LEMON: OK. So, again, that is just a few seconds of that. That's not all. There are other duties on the CD like John Edwards' poverty tour, a Wright place, wrong pastor, W-R-I-G-H-T, and the Star Spanglish banner.
OK. Well, Chip Saltsman released a statement on TheHill.com, and here's what he says. He says "Paul Shanklin is a long-time friend, and I think that RNC members have the good humor and good sense to recognize that his songs for the Rush Limbaugh show are light-hearted political parodies."
All right. So joining us tonight for this discussion -- Reid Wilson is a writer for TheHill.com. I could say you broke this story because you are the first one to report about it. And then Lynn Sweet for the Washington -- she is from the Chicago Sun-Times, the Washington Bureau Chief. She joins us as well.
OK, thank you both. Reid, what was the response? When you started doing this story and digging around, what did you hear from the people involved?
REID WILSON, STAFF WRITER, THEHILL.COM: Well, we heard a lot from Republican National Committee members that they were really shocked by the sort of tone deafness of this decision to send out this CD. As you mentioned, Paul Shanklin is the guy who does a lot of parody work for the Rush Limbaugh radio show.
Limbaugh has been playing this a while. He was attacked when he started playing it by a bunch of liberal groups, Media Matters of America, some other groups like that. And then Saltsman sends this CD out. They have a good relationship. As you mentioned, they have been friends for a very long time. Still, though, the notion that this would go out at a time when the Republican Party is really having trouble attracting minority voters and minority interests at all is -- it smacks of tone deafness.
LEMON: Tone deafness. There are some people who say, you know what, it's humor. It's humor. Come on, lighten up a little bit. Do you agree with that at all, Lynn Sweet?
LYNN SWEET, CHICAGO SUN-TIMES: Peter, Paul and Mary must be spinning around that their own song, of all people, of all groups, you know, to use their "Puff the Magic Dragon." It's tasteless parody. See, it's one thing if Rush Limbaugh wants to use it on his show. It is another thing when an official, especially one who aspires to be a Republican National Committee chairman takes it out of the Rush Limbaugh venue and puts it into a political context. So, it is -- it is not -- that is the message that he wants to send, it is impossible to think he would ever be elected RNC chairman now.
LEMON: But Lynn, I'm getting e-mails from people and notes on Facebook and Twitter saying, you know what, this was taken care of -- wasn't this taken care of during the campaign? People thought it was racist? Rush Limbaugh has been doing this for a year now. Why are you bringing it up? For the fact that your bringing it up is because people like Reid, and you guys, you uncover that someone was distributing it again.
SWEET: Well, that's what makes it different, is that it left the confines of the Rush Limbaugh show.
LEMON: Reid?
WILSON: That's absolutely right. It was sent out to all 168 members of the Republican National Committee. Some of whom -- at least one of whom I was told wanted it out of his house. He didn't want the CD anywhere near him, and he threw it away as fast as could. This is something that the Republican Party is really dealing with right now. They got somewhere between, you know, four and five percent of the African-American vote. You are not going to attract a lot of African-American voters in 2010 or 2012 if you're, well, engaging in this sort of, well, what could be a joke, doesn't really look like, though.
LEMON: Whatever you think of it. I mean, it wasn't real smart to send it out. Come on, let's be honest. I mean, I'm not going to call anyone a racist here, but these are grown men, and you have to suffer the consequences of whatever you do.
I mean, sending it out to members of the RNC, shouldn't -- shouldn't they know better? I mean, that's just silly.
WILSON: One thing that a lot of people brought up was that these are not -- this was not only sent out to folks who listen to the Rush Limbaugh show. Sure, there are a lot of RNC members. There are a lot of Americans who listen to the Rush Limbaugh Show. But there are also folks who are from the -- you know, from the upper west side of Manhattan, who were the Republican Party's big donors who don't listen to Rush Limbaugh, who might not find this funny. Some older folks who wouldn't find this -- the satire that it was maybe intended to be.
LEMON: Yes.
SWEET: Moreover, if this is a man who wants to lead the Republican Party, and to have any impact of trying to -- you know, whatever happened to the old big tent that the GOP used to have. You know, it's taunting and making fun. Again, this is -- this is the kind of stuff that -- you know, what goes on Rush Limbaugh Show is very different than what a person who wants a public -- you know, a political office has. It's also -- it wasn't smart politics, because it is going to ruin his bid to be RNC chairman. So if he couldn't even figure that out, then perhaps he did the party a favor.
LEMON: All right, Reid Wilson and Lynn Sweet, thank you both very much.
Here's the video from Think Progress. Good for Tamron for pointing out just how insulting the phrase "Magic Negro" is regardless of how the GOP wants to spin their excuses for why the song was supposed to be a joke.

tagged under stupidity. Maybe it's time for a new category.
This ranks up there with the choice of Sarah Palin to run for V-P. Gotta love it. The more of this the wingers do, the better for progressives.
that the pig people continue to let their collective inner asshole shine through!
It happens naturally.
...trying to justify that bullshit "satire".
Good luck with the black vote in the future, dumbass Republican mother fuckers!
The only "joke" associated with this disgusting business is the RNC!
Is it still on Billboard's "Rethug Top 20"? You'd think they'd have something else to knock it off the list by now...
Kate Obershain wants to defend Rush. Why??
Maybe the MSM should go after Rush again for playing this stuff.
Is he not the voice of the Republican party?
then definitely the voice of the ultra right wing faction of the GOP.
:P
But it wasn't always so.
Republicans used to be a respectable party...once...briefly...
no one better represents the morals and principles of the republican party better than rush limbaugh and since the Fairness Doctrine was killed 20 years ago no single person, as point man for the talk radio's coordinated UNCONTESTED repetition, has done more to get the party to where it is now. unfortunately the GOP pulled the rest of the country with it.
some in the GOP will try to disavow limbaugh now but they've been riding the talk radio bandwagon and feeding off it's laundered and prechewed talking points, like many lazy media talking heads, for two decades.
the biggest political blunder in decades was progressives/liberals/dems ignoring talk radio because it gave them a headache. it was giving them a headache because rove and co were using it to pound them over the head everyday with an invisible 2x4.
it should be a standard answer from progressives in politics or media when confronted with talk radio- inspired stupidity, "did you get that from limbaugh, or hannity?"
It has been the home of bigots since 1964 after the Civil Rights Act was passed. Since then all the bigots left the dems and went to the GOP. Then when Reagan took office he made the bigotry clean and permissible thru the "reverse discrimination", and anti-school busing. I have never understood why any people of color, homosexuals, and the poor vote republican. Because the GOP thinks they stand closer to the cross, any color but white is wrong, and homosexuality is the mother of all sins. Also, poor people are poor because: they are lazy, stupid, not worthy, etc.
WE should definitely go after Limbaugh on this. He has repeatedly made racist comments over the years on his radio show. He lost his ESPN NFL gig because of his racist opinion on Donovan McNabb. Now this 'hilarious' Magic Negro song.
Why not go after Limbaugh for being a racist? Go after his guests? His stations? His sponsors? His listeners? Eventually there has to be a tipping point where a man who has repeatedly been involved in racial incidents over his career can no longer blame the 'liberal media' or claim to be misinterpreted or that his work is satire.
Let us flat out declare that RUSH LIMBAUGH is a RACIST and that his listeners, his guests, his sponsors, his sponsors shareholders, his stations and their shareholders are all complicit in his racism. I don't want to censor the man. He has every right to his views. Let's just make clear who and what he is. He is not a satirist, a journalist or a humorist. He is a racist. His success is a direct result of his ability to incite hatred amongst his fellow citizens. After that has been made clear, then let big time GOP politicians appear on his show. Let whoever wants to sponsor him do so.
You think Rush really needs the help? I think he's doing a better job boxing himself into a stereotype than we can do. I'm sitting back and enjoying it. You know, we won.
The Southern Strategy kept Republicans in power for 40 years, but I think smarter Republicans know it's their biggest problem from here on in -- the country's changed. But, to their dismay, 40 years of race-baiting has spawned a generation of Republicans with old time instincts that they're going to have trouble shaking. I agree, he should never be allowed to forget bits like this but, if Rush wants to put up a sign saying, "Only White Midwesterners and Southerners Over 50 Welcomed Here", I'll help him nail it up.
I don't think the last election was a cry for a new liberal crusade for racial justice, I think it was an indication that most people, finally, look at this type of crap, shake their heads and turn away. The media, in any case, is uniformly portraying it as phenomenally dumb. I can't understand why Republicans keep going on TV to defend it, but I'm enjoying it. I may be wrong, we won't know for some time, but I think the change that was manifested last November was bigger than you think. Gotta be optimistic about something at this point...
he definitely claims to be the water carrier.
Maybe she's looking to become the 4th Mrs Limbaugh, thus shoring up the sanctity of straight marriage.
"I mean, I'm not going to call anyone a racist here, but these are grown men,"
NO, that's where you're WRONG Mr. Lemon! I mean come on now! Do you seriously believe that a mature mind would do this??????
This is the way I see it. Either the guy who sent it out is the dumbest fu*king human walking the earth or he knew the other repubs he sent it out to would find it entertaining and he never thought word of what he did would reach the media.
OR....he could just be another sick, racist Republican mofo.
Yes, there is that very real possibility.
They aren't mutually exclusive.
Don't. Get. It.
Were they setting out to offend all possible groups of voters? Don't forget Orientals, women and Muslims next time.
with Sarah Palin.
"But...but...she has a vagina!
I suggest a hunting trip with Dick Cheney.
what let this people to think that they know satire. To them, if it is offensive to the others, it is funny.
So happy to have inadvertently inspired this Republican circular firing squad.
you would think this would tip off Obama that the Republicans have no intention of working with him.
This is just the beginning of a long four years. Boehner anyone?
Inclusive to the GOP means bringing younger white rednecks into the party. All those cross burnings must wear the old folks out. What a miserable excuse for a political party.
Soon to be a new Rankin/Bass Holiday Extravaganza!
So "tone deaf" is the new Reptilican euphanism that excuses racism? How interesting.
I like that...but it's a terrible insult to the lizards in my back yard.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=insVgcOVVDQ
I always thought Ton Def would be a great name for a rapper.
I didn't say it excuses it. I just said that's what they are.
Just see this on yahoo. Stand by your man, indeed.
Wow! Bill Hicks or George Carlin are comedy. This, not so much...
Racism is so funny coming from a politician. Why, all politicians are just so gosh dang funny. The world needs laughter and who better to provide it than racist politicians?
When Marilyn Manson said Dick Armey sounded like the name of a gay bar it was funny
A year or so later whe Dick Armey said it, not so much.
I guess they have arrived at the conclusion that they can't recruit any intelligent people into their party so they will instead sweep all the ignorant ones up and take them. Maybe it has something to do with safety in numbers or something.
palin's posse.
I think she's raising her own posse. Now we have grandbaby "Trip". There are so many jokes to be made with his name that it isn't even fun trying. I have to wonder what his little life is going to be like.
step in.
It's very curious to me that the mom and dad didn't get married before the little thing was born. They have given the baby the father's last name already. Maybe they had hoped for a DC wedding after grandma was elected veep. Thank goodness those plans were tossed out the window on Nov 4th.
Step in what?
Hopefully the little bugger's wearing diapers.

When I watched that house ****** Larry Elders defending this, I cringed. When he started talking about how the democrats were the party of the KKK he failed to mentioned that the crackers left the Democrat party after LBJ passed the civil rights amendment. Then I watch Bill O'Reilly talking about the fence and immigrants, I realized the Republican party is finished. But of course they have house ******s like Elders, Keyes, Armstrong Williams, Steele and undercover house ****** Juan Williams.
Elder lied his sorry ass off defending his masters....what an embarrassment.
The black Republicans represented in that fucked up party tell us AA's all we need to know about those ignorant racist cockroaches.
Bush the magic f*ck-up, on another vacation
I understand he's needs a break
from f*cking up the nation
The world cheers Chimp's departure in a matter of weeks
And back at home because of Chimp
the outlook is looking bleek
All the GOP has is division, hate and fear
After 8 long years of their governance
we've taken it in the rear
once again Repub racism rears it's ugly head
When they're not ruining America
they're leaving hundreds of thousands dead
FOX, Rush, and O Reilly, can all go straight to hell
these America destroying enablers
Should be run out of the country on a rail
The people defending this are racists, perhaps few of them will admit that they are racist, some, perhaps in their own minds don't even see that they are racist.
I hold that there is no scientific genetic basis for the concept of race.
Here is R. C. Lewontin Professor Emeritus Harvard University.
From that standpoint the term 'race' is outdated.
The term remains in a cultural and social understanding or misunderstanding as may be the case. I think it should be banished altogether.
However, the scientific argument will be far too nuanced and demanding intellectually for people in the group attempting to support or excuse this travesty as 'comedy'.
The ringleaders, I suspect, understand full well they are inviting frenzy and continued misunderstanding from the ignorant who are their supporters.
If there is no race? Are you then an ethnicist?
If it's true there is no race, then how do so many people use it as a weapon, on both sides of the argument?
Read a real history book...and stop with the idiotic play on words to absolve yourself from unavoidable historical truths.
Digest it, then make a comment.
One uses the term 'race' which is derived from some visual or purely suppositional basis, perhaps skin tone, perhaps facial characteristics, even just a suspicion and takes that as an objective means of declaring some fundamental difference.
Whatever difference is construed, it is not genetic.
To take a visual cue as a basis for 'race' and then to carry on that this is a valid basis for determining a difference, a superiority or an inferiority is to be racist.
The term remains in a cultural and social understanding or misunderstanding. I think it should be banished altogether.
I am repeating myself.
You can't just redefine something and then say don't use the term anymore because the term has been redefined. The idiot racists won't understand for one thing. Plus what is it you are trying to say here?
I am not redefining anything, read Lewontin's article.
The term 'race' belongs in the lexicon of the racist.
At least that's what I learned in college with the different diversity events and multiculturalism requirements. I learned that we should be separated by our race/ethnicity/culture and that we should respect each others differences and in fact, that those differences should be held as paramount over all else. Thus it is important to focus on racial differences and other various superficial differences between all of us.
Is that wrong?
Not from the standpoint of the racist…
As I said, read Lewontin's article first.
It takes gray matter connectivity to understand, but much than that it takes an effort to digest, it is worth the effort.
OK I read the article and I agree, Race is a social construct, that's my point at the beginning of the thread. If it's a social construct, than "racism" doesn't literally exist, as race doesn't literally exist. Thus we have to create new definitions to vilify people with whom we disagree. If genetic variance is the reason for substantial differences between human beings, then we can start vilifying people as "geneticists" - but then that wouldn't work either, since that implies someone who works in genetics.
So then what term will we create now to paint people who disagree with the status quo and the media formulated expectations with a broad stoke? Will we continue to call them racist and thus maintain that race is a legitimate social construct? How can we end racism if we continue to use is as a means of vilifying one another and those whom we disagree?
Again, if race doesn't literally exist, than neither does racism. You can still use the term prejudicial or discriminatory, however.
But again, if race doesn't exist, why do we choose to propagate the myth of race through things like EEO forms, Diversity, Multiculturalism, and use of the term racist?
If you want to end racism, and you want to educate people that race is a purely human social construct, then you have to quit using it as a weapon when it suits your needs.
Racism exists and it is real.
It is based in ignorance.
What is needed to combat it is information, education and communication.
[Deleted-Sitemonitor]
Dude!!!
That's messed up!
Funny as hell...but messed up.
....but I hope that you're not attempting to compare the two. The history's of the two groups are quite different. When a party(and the bigots represented in that party) have a long and violently oppressive relationship pertaining to a particular race, it is fully understandable that the victimized people monitor that collection of racists and their behaviors by keeping their sick asses on a short leash.
Looks like yes.
But "African-American" was too many syllables and "Black" too few... I suppose they could have said "Mixed dude".
Point is, he IS magic right? He's going to bring us an era of unprecedented peace and prosperity, restore our global standing, single-handedly restore our economy, and grant all of us the ability to shoot lasers from our eyes. I'd call that pretty damn magical myself, I don't know about the rest of you.
"He's going to bring us an era of unprecedented peace and prosperity, restore our global standing, single-handedly restore our economy,"
You mean basically he's going to bring back the Clinton legacy the Republicans have destroyed. It's an uphill battle for anyone. When Republicans destroy something whether at home or abroad they do a good job at it. Only their bearded sky God can undo the damage they've done.
"Only their bearded sky God can undo the damage they've done."
Which is why the sky god sent us his only begotten son: Obama! He shall lead us! He shall cause lamb to lie down with lion in the fields. He shall end all illness and sadness in the world. He will end hunger the world over. He shall wipe ever tear from every eye. Amen!
All of your mindless posts were simply camouflage to hid the fact that you have race issues and problems with Obama....dipshit.
My problem with Obama isn't because he's black, but because he's just another rich elite that took you all for fools. You expected him to work miracles, you have such high expectations for him, but sorry, the status quo will remain substantially the same.
His choices for foreign policy, economic policy, and national security are the same types of people we've had the last few decades. The rich will keep getting richer, the poor don't matter, and you will all ignore this until the last moment, and even then, still make excuses for the fact that he didn't really change much of anything in Washington.
Not miracles; will be happy with improvements.
He can probably accomplish more once he's sworn in, BTW.
I agree, and perhaps he will. But my point is, having all these great expectations in a mortal human being, particularly one who is just ANOTHER rich elite, is setting ourselves up for a huge disappointment.
Granted, you can't elect anyone president BUT a rich elite man. You have to have the money, the right connections, and have gone to the right schools. Anything less and you may as well be running as the green or libertarian candidate.
My point being, I have no expectations from Obama other than he will maintain the status quo largely the same as it has already been set out over the last half century. We live in a system of socialized corporatism now, profit is privatized and losses are socialized. We pay for the mistakes of the upper 5% while that same 5% enjoys all the benefits when they actually do something right.
This is the America we live in now, and neither Obama, or McCain (If he were elected) plan to make any substantial changes to this system.
If you're in the upper 5%, congrat, things WILL get better. For the rest of us 95%, we're stuck with a country falling apart and being propped up by our wealth and the wealth of our grandchildren's children - what little wealth they would have had.
Hey James.
Nice to know your problems with Obama isn't because he is black. Sorry your man McBush lost. But there's hope. You still have Palin, who pals around with Drug Addicts and you can take care of her baby's daddy's mother. Keep up the good works. We need your intelligent comments.
Nice assumption, but I hated McCain more than Obama. Good try though.
A Bob Barr guy? Or whatshisface...oh yeah, the good Dr. Ron Paul?
You are just a hateful person. Sounds like you need to get laid.
This country has a terrible history. It is the history of human beings.
The Europeans when they conquered this land. Notice I didn't say discover, because there were twenty five million people already living here. It is impossible to discover something that 25 million people already know.
Every person alive in 1492 was a modern human being in the scientific terms understood today.
Unfortunately for the people living here, they were susceptible to the European's diseases and somewhere around 90% of them died.
Had the indigenous people not died the Europeans would likely have enslaved them, if they were able and the indigenous Americans had not driven them back into the sea.
Had they not succumbed to disease, history would be very different.
The Europeans managed to stay and they wanted slaves, they turned to Africa because the indigenous Americans were dying like flies and the Africans had immunity to the Europeans' diseases. And importantly, vice versa.
Africans sold Africans so there is blame there. There is plenty of blame to go around everywhere.
But after they left Africa against their will and landed here the Africans' fate was abysmal.
And the history is replete with horror for them.
The history is plenty bad for the indigenous American survivors.
We are in the 21st century. What do we do now.
I am saying that we understand that there is no scientific basis to divide human beings into 'racial' groups based on genetics.
That we work to ensure that all populations have equal opportunity. I do not suggest attempting to guarantee equal results, that is the realm of the communist.
It is not without significance that this country has elected a person who looks like Barack Obama.
The Europeans try to talk a good talk these days, but I doubt they could walk the walk.
I never talk black or white. Am I blind? No, my neighbor on one side could physically stand in for Obama and from thirty feet you would not know a difference.
My neighbor from the other side would be too dark and too short. My neighbor in back would be too light and too heavy.
What do you know about me. Nothing.
But I have a great deal of concern about rich versus poor.
And the policies that the rich pursue that are entirely contrary to the interest of the poor.
By poor I will include everyone poorer than a million dollars a year or something like that, but maybe better somewhat less than that. There is the euphemism of the 'middle class', it is shrinking.
What is at stake is the susceptibility to believe that because someone looks a particular way that they are going to follow a particular policy.
I fight against the policies of, and that favor the rich and for policies that favor the poor.
Are you Larry Elders?
I was unfortunate enough to listen to John Gibson yesterday for a few minutes (A very few minutes. Maybe less than a minute.) and sure enough he was defending this crap. Gibson is such an asshole he never ceases to amaze me. There is no reason to even talk about Gibson becasue he is really a nothing, a nobody, a joke but I just thought I would relate my very brief experience as to let you know that these right wing idiots are not ever going to get it.
Keep digging Republif_cks, the grave's not quite deep enough just yet.
Chip the honkie flunky, used racist words
And frolicked in the R-N-C, with other fascist turds
His head, it did no thinking, his conscience didn't work
another pale white idiot, in a party full of jerks!
Now THAT is teh funny.
Either you're a poet or a guy with too much free time. Lol.
I think we should write a friggin book to the tune and sing it outside the the Next Republican National Convention.
where the Republican party has shriveled to the size where we can drown it in the bathtub.
Drink to that!
… pure unadulterated racism … I’ll turn on my TV or read a newspaper. Until then they can just crawl off somewhere and die a slow and painful death.
Rollo Tornass is right- they're digger the grave deeper with this fake ass defense of the satire.
Instead of focusing on debating the merits/specifics of Obama's economic stimulus package (which is what they SHOULD BE DOING) they're focusing their energy on arguing over whether or not it was a race-baiting song. NOT EXACTLY the best place for the party to be in.
But I think we need to take time out to discuss this part.
Kudos to the guy who threw it out. He must either be a minority or knew it was toxic on arrival. What about the other 167 members? Did they laugh along or toss it out? That's the real thing I want to know and knowing it will tell you whether it's a party of bigots or a party trying not to be bigots anymore.
John Stewart is funny... Rush is a racist pill popping facist corprotist dildus maximus...
to defend this as a joke, is a joke, end... of... fucking... story...
we should be talking about isreal anyway...
Kate Obershain's denials were rapid, loud and shrill. A sure sign of defending the indefensible. Maybe if Republican media types spoke to African-Americans other than Ken Blackwell they'd be less tone deaf.
But then, why help them improve.
I find it odd that there seemed to be absolute fear that either reporter might say the word "racist" during this interview. Neither one of them really figured out a good way to imply it without saying it.
What a couple of marshmallows.
how did one tiny shrill Thug White lady get paired up with two ruthless Negros? Someone's gonna be made redundant...
It never ceases to amaze me when white people go out of their way to explain the non-racist meanings behind clearly racist actions.
Shut up Cracker Woman. You serve only to enhance our already baaaad reputation. If you are gonna be a racist, don't deny it, be proud of it, and don't try and hustle everyone into believing that Limbaugh wasn't being a racist. Because it's thoroughly unbelievable.
Sweet said it was "tasteless" not "tasteful." What a different a suffix makes.
[Thank you. I let the admins know-Sitemonitor]
It's only a matter of time before Limpballs and his ilk get what they deserve. We should just keep giving him enough rope to hang himself. Ignoring that tub of goo will seal the deal on a return to sanity in America.
It will be hard for the GOP to get Anchor people to support their call for racism as we now have mimorities in the front. It was so easy before as only whites held those jobs and well it was just news then. How does a black person accept being talked about like a dog and smile. Oh I forgot Alan Keyes likes it just so he can fit in. Keyes would probably go in black or white face make up if they told him to and jump like a monkey just to be accepted in the Republican Party. Yes he'd serve dinner and make beds as he told to dance and sing while doing his work. It's time to move on and get with the program or get out. What's suprising is the real Republicans aren't speaking up as the few idiots destroy their Party.
That's how out of touch the Republican are. Remember they ran Keyes against Obama because Keyes was black? And that boot licking lackey rose to the occasion and got his butt whipped. And when the women were angry with Hillary's lost, they brought out Palin thinking they would vote for her because she is a woman. And now this CD. So, they bring out good old house Negros Steele and Elder to defend their master. I think Juan Williams is on vacation because they have not used him yet on FOX.
Just when you thought the Repulican party couldn't get any more irrealivent along comes Saltsman and proves that they keep digging the hole deeper - amazing! I think he's the perfect guy to be the RNC chairman, he can lead the party into complete oblivion.
Rush likes his Oxycontin in the bum http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3QRy-PEgbls
All together now. . .
Why does Kate Obershain feel that she needs to shout all the time - why not just talk normally. Maybe she thinks she's back in the cotten fields?
Well whatta ya know, more Republican "humor" falls flat on its kisser...At its "best" Republican "humor" is insufferably bland and boring, at its worst, it's truly nauseating.
And I'm shocked, shocked I tell ya that this moron's cute little mix CD insults not just A-As, but the Latino community too. I suppose they should keep it up, both communities handily rejected the Repukes this year, we can do it again, hopefully on an even bigger scale...
I believe that there is some place at the table for conservatives, but this current cast of characters we've been subjected to need to be purged like a bad case of salmonella...
And good lord G & B, Rush's rumpus!! Not that I have any place complaining after making three different references to upchuck, but omg, there is not a bar of soap on this planet that could get the awful mental image ya just gave me out of my head! :S
This song, and apparently the whole CD, represents yet another attempt by wingnuts to be "funny", which for them translates only to "nasty". Remember that Fox News Half Hour show or whatever it was? Hilarious! And that movie "An American Carol"? What a scream! And now we have this song.
The wingnuts should just give up on humor once and for all. They simply are not intelligent enough to be funny. Period.
A NAM VET got 5 years for Dr shoping for pain killers. He is in a wheel chair. rush did the same thing,(sitting on his ass to long)and what did he get NOTHING! I can not see why they pay him $7 million a year. He was making fun of MICHAEL J FOX after Michael FOX did a commercial. what a total SCUMBAG.
And the GOP wants more minorities to join them? Way to go. Morons.
Exactly. We (minorities of any kind, including women) have to really hate ourselves to even entertain the idea of voting GOP at this point. Hence most of us don't vote GOP!
