Right-wing bullies have been blowing up the Internet the past day or so with their blowhard-ish accusations that Obama campaign spokesperson Stephanie Cutter has somehow minimized the Libya attacks and deaths of four Americans by pointing to the obvious (and annoying) politicization that has taken place over the weeks since the attacks.
Here, for the record is exactly what Cutter said in her interview:
"Had we had any different information, we would have put it out. We would have told the American people what we knew.
And so, in terms of the politicization of this, you know, we are here at a debate and I hope we get to talk about the debate, but the entire reason this has become the political topic it is, is because of Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan. It's a big part of their stump speech, and it's reckless and irresponsible."
Why yes, it is reckless and irresponsible. Incredibly so, since the three-ring Darrell Issa circus has fallout we're likely only beginning to understand, thanks to their reckless display of classified information yesterday.
It's especially reckless and irresponsible when Congress is the culprit for the tightwad security measures in embassies and consulates, by Chaffetz' own admission.
Don't let facts get in the way of a bully's playground, folks. Erick Erickson, who should have been fired from CNN years ago, spewed forth with this:

And Monica Crowley, and the rest of the right-wing blogosphere. Malkin's already got her nailed on her Twitchy meme-maker site, so Cutter can expect to receive a barrage of tweets from weird conservative accounts with few followers which will be full of vile and ugly words for her, too.
This is how the right-wing bullies people, and they do it because they can't make the Etch-a-Sketch remark go away, and they can't make Mitt Romney a better candidate, and they can't take the conservative Randian out of Paul Ryan.
They can't make Americans love their policies or their candidate, so they have to resort to trying to make people hate the other guy. Pathetic, ugly bullies, every last one of them.
Stef Cutter said what many of us have been upset about: Romney and Ryan and the Republicans are using this tragedy for their own political gain. She's tired of it, and so am I.
