You gotta' love that the Republicans aren't ashamed to trot good old Diaper-boy Vitter out there to remind everyone about those Republican family values. At the Southern Republican Leadership Conference, David Vitter basically tells us what we know already; that the Republicans are using the Tea Party movement to get their base fired up and win elections in the fall. This whole astroturf movement has been nothing but some major turd polishing to try to get the Bush-stink away from the Republican brand.

I identify much more with the tea party movement than republican party. Republicans did not balance the budget in the GWB years. I don't care about gay marriage, abortion, support for Israel and the continued fight in Afg. I am no longer a Sarah Palin supporter after hearing her speak at the tea party convention like it was an event for republicans.
Front and center for me is an immediate balanced budget, the freedom to buy and sell health insurance and health care at terms agreed to by the buyer and seller, sharp restrictions on immigration and balanced trade with China.
I think the budget has to be balanced thru entitlement cuts like no more early retirement, tighten eligbility for on social security disability, people getting extended unemployment benefits have to work for their money. I would have an immediate 30% cut in salary and benefits for federal workers.
As a compromise, I would accept tax increases to balance the budget. Deduct, for example, government payments for a persons final years of health care from their estate when they decease.
I disagree with your entitlements plan, and then some. As a quickie--google Government Services, Inc. Find out what they do. How are you going to reduce their "wages" by 30%? Later.
open for a discussion about your political beliefs. We don't have to agree, but trying to understand those with different views can only advance everyone, or at least the debate. Do you agree?
I agree. And to FreeMarket25 I say...
Good for you. You look at the issues, weigh the alternatives and make up your own mind. You can discuss your opinions, and sway and be swayed by rational arguments. If that’s what you think a tea-party activist does, then using your definition, I too am a tea-partier.
But I don’t think that is what your average tea-bagger does.
I think the entire “tea party” movement is a well orchestrated and well funded GOP political maneuver to re-brand Republicans. I think it was meant to incite and insert fear of the Government for the powerless who have been alienated - by the powerful who have done the alienation. The anti-government sentiment did not exist in the last administration. It would not exist as the same movement if McCain had won the last election. Its sole purpose is to put back into power the powerful Repubs who lost in 2006 and 2008. They are the ones who fund this movement, who orchestrate it, who promote it, and who capitalize on it.
I agree with much of the complaints of this so called “tea party movement”; I sympathies with the plight of many of the members. But they have little going for them other than anger. And all are being used.
It's always been frustrating to watch the media cover the tea party as an "independent grassroots" movement. Who they really are has been out in the open the whole time. It's funded and operated by conservative PACs and lobbyists, conservative activists, Republican politicians and Fox News. Do journalists just read and publish press-releases instead of actually doing investigative journalism these days? A few decades ago they would have nailed this before it even got off the ground.
I'd also think this movement was created to draw in and embrace some of the fringe, radical right-wing groups that the GOP has previously shied away from in the past.
to retire at 62 at 60% of what they would get at 72 then I have to assume you've never in your short life worked in this country. And by work I mean work.
How could anything this perv says have any credibility?
Diaper changes you can believe in.
leader..Bowing to the 10,000 people who are not even conversant on the issues..
They will have to get ideas, results, and solutions first..Then they must get the power back...vertical learning curve for the brightest-- let alone the halfwits!
Is a change of prostitutes to change his diapers. What filthy scum these republicans are.
republicanism/conservatism is a mental illness!
i don't know how vitter can stand himself,
wearing one diaper and sniffing another used one.

The tea party absolutely loves and respects their male whores and protitute loving cheaters.
I saw a CSI episode about Diaper-Boy Vitter on TV. It made me sick so i stopped watching before it was over.
Did Vitter poo-poo his Diapers too? I think that's part of the ritual...
Anyway, the Republican mob is a house of cards. Vitter want's to put Humpty Dumpty together again. Awww. poor wittle hepless baby! Goo Goo Gaa Gaa.

I don't identify with ignorant racists. I say this about them because they don't give a damn about deficits and budgets. They're just pissed because the Negro continues to clean their clocks. These people are nothing but saltines! Oh, and I can still smell Bush's stench on the GOP. I'm not sure how stupid you have to be to vote for Republicans but, teabaggers fit the bill. We still out number them and will kick their asses again in November.
America needs to be rid of the Republicans before the next big national challange. You know, the one right around the corner. The Republicans are truely a hazard to the security of the nation.

Do you think the Teabaggers will approve of Diaper-Boy? Is
Teabagger denial more powerful than Teabagger revulsion?

to drive you to your appointment with hookers?
Was it a GOP "Company" car, or one provided by YOUR PIMP OR MADAM? Or, was it your wife's car?
Did you get any mileage expenses?
Did you get your oil-changed as often as your diapers?
This enquiring voter wants to know.
Don't lecture me, A$$HOLE!!!
If you were a real man, you would have apologized to your conservative voters, your wife, your children, and anyone else who ever cared about your sorry, miserable ass, and retired.
But I guess you're not a real man. I have no expertise on this, but I'd bet that most weak, little men who want to wear diapers and get spanked, aren't really strong leaders.
Unless, they're Republican's, I guess.
You have GOT to admit, they sure make Loon look easy....AND re-prove it almost hourly....
..they only succeeded in exchanging one stink-bomb for another..and like the Bushco years, it will come to bite them back on the buttocks..
let them claim the tea parties. They may have deluded themselves into thinking this is the key demographic that will bring them back to power. As the political arm of Fox News they may also believe that their interests and Rupert Murdoch's coincide. They are wrong. Fox is driven by a desire for ratings and those are driven by controversy and the loonier the better. If they think this sort of thing will connect them to sane people they are mistaken.

I laugh when I hear the Repubtards go on about how many seats they're going to pick up next election. What, did the President get blacker so you're going to get some new racists you didn't have before? What has the Repubtard Party done since the last election to win intelligent people to their side? They have the ignorant vote locked, that's for sure. Where are these new votes going to come from? The same place you get your talking points from? URAZZ?
I have one question for David Vitter. Did baby make a boom boom?
will come from Diebold and ES&S, just like the ones GW Bush had.
Today's GOP.
But the teabaggers/Republicans are hardly the vehicle.
If teabaggers/Republicans are elected we can expect a continuation of the policy of endless war, a continuation of the degrading and elimination of constitutional rights and even basic human rights, a continuation of governmental secrecy covering both Democratic and Republican crimes, a continuation of an economy directed by the Wall Street swindle machine. In other words: a continuation of our current corporate nation.
Teabaggers/Republicans aren't change. They're simply more of the same. But the only other choice is the Democratic Party.
We can eat porridge or gruel, but it all comes from the same pot.

Everytime I meet one that tells me he is a republican. I ask if he/she is embarrassed. When they say no, I say well I will be embarrassed for you. I tell them you make me ashamed to be an American. Most of them never speak to me again. But you know what? I like that because I do feel shame that they are that fucking stupid.
republicanism/conservatism is a mental illness! That has killed the economy and god only knows how many people!
Well, it is them that want nothing to do with political correctness, so they just got a shot of what they dish out all the time.

Ya, Vitter is like an elongated doughnut with bumps. He has a hole in the middle which is full of spit and shit.
That pretty much sums Vitter up, but he might also be referred to as an ugly bag of mostly water.

"get the Bush-stink away from the Republican brand" they should have tried something cleansing like war crimes trials instead of teabag hog shit.
That's about the only thing that could save the Republican house of cards now...

That Rove IS a genius. Whoops, I mean sociopath.

Palin for president. Bachman as vice.
That way, the rest of the world can see first hand what we're up against. I think Cheney should be VP again. Rove as his chief of staff. Yoo, secretary of defense. Haley Barbour should be nominated for SCOTUS right now. Let's get this over with.
...for change in the Republican Party? I see the Republicans have switched over to used french fry oils to fuel their cars. Yet another reason to wait in line at MickeyD's.
Traveling With Sarah - A Play in one Act
Vicky is riding in the car with her mom Sarah, who she worships and her son in law who owns an auto repair shop. Barry is not his name but she always calls him that because she has never forgiven her daughter for marrying him.
The car starts loosing power and acts like it may stall.
Sarah: It's the carburetor. Todd's buddy once had a car with carburetor problems.
Barry: When people come to the shop with this kind of problem it is often a failing air flow sensor.
Sarah: It's the carburetor you stupid punk. Todd can rebuild any carburetor in the world. You Betcha.
Barry: I cannot be sure it is the air flow sensor but we can check it out at the shop. It cannot be the carburetor, Sarah, because this engine is fuel injected. It has no carburetor.
Vicky: Barry, you arrogant bum, Sarah has freedom of speech. She has a right to her opinion. What makes your think your opinion gives you the right to take away Sarah's freedom of speech?
Sarah (sneering): You know how "these experts" are Vicky. Always talking down to us regular folk. Always acting so "superior".
Question Vicky: Who should fix your car? Todd or one of Barry's auto repair technicians?
for Vitters. They're like Depends but for continent adults who like to have fun.

Ha! I like it.
Can the people of Louisiana really be dumb enough to send this fool back to Washington?
I'm SURE the dumb ass repukkkes will send him up as their nominee for the repukkke party...but what else is new?
is a grown man who likes to wear diapers in the company of prostitutes.
What does that say about Republicans and the people who vote for them?
wouldn't diapers be more appropriate for Diaper Dave.
The Rethugs are scared to death of a 3rd party splitting the conservative vote, which very likely will happen this year giving Congress a Democratic control the status quo greatly fears. Thus all the "game change" spin from the 'Thug noise machine and Corporate Media, including "liberal" msnbc since late last year. Chris Matthews has been spinning for the status quo narrative of thugs getting back into power by selling Halperin's book as "powerful". It's all the typical manipulation from a media no American with a brain should ever trust, until the monopolies are broken up.
I remember watching some political ads where they never mentioned that the politician was a Republican, not once, they only said "conservative" and only at the very end. The omission of party affiliation was worse than just admitting that he was a Republican. As I sat there watching, I knew he had to be a Republican because they are the only ones who would hide that.
Right on the money.
The "Greediest of People" party needed a diversion and found it with "Tea Baggers!" I can't believe Louisiana would allow Senator David Vitter to continue to represent them, but I'm from Oklahoma so I can't say our state does much better finding politicians to represent our state.
It is bizarre how no sin seems big enough for Republicans to be forgiven, yet no "family values" sin is too small for a Democratic politician to absolutely lose their job, or be impeached, within a week's time. Not to say I'm for politicians being judged by their personal / family lives but it is the whole hypocrisy factor that bothers me.
Ohhhhh-kayyy, Diaperboy...if you say so.
Whenever Vitter speaks, opponents should hold up diapers and throw diaper pins.
Vote GOP and move forward to the 18th Century.
Vitter's Teabagger Yell : Republican Party Will Be The Party of Diapers and Prostitutes!!
Crowd gives him standing ovation!
Here is diaper boy's 2004 TV ad!! Talk about diapers . .
