At a town hall meeting yesterday, Todd Akin mentioned that some of his Democratic colleagues in Congress "almost got lynched" when talking to constituents. The idea seems to have been a big hit with the friendly audience.

I have to find out what district this guy represents. I think it's the one next to me, so maybe he's close enough where I can go and question his lynching comment as well as his approval of the laughter.
