Thirty Republicans

In 2009, the Senate voted to not fund companies which force their employees to forfeit their rights to sue for sexual assault or harassment.
Thirty Senators voted against this amendment. All of them republican.
These men are not voting for your rights.
Why should you vote for them?
And here's Al again, standing up for Jamie Leigh Jones and those like her.

why isn't this list public? why hasn't the media looked into and harrassed the hell out of these criminals?
I don't doubt for a minute these guys are guilty, but these guys do get to have their day in court just as any other person accused of a crime. (This is ofcourse only possible thanks to Franken's amendment)
The victim will never have her day in court, and the rapists don't want theirs. Franken's bill doesn't reach to the past, and it doesn't even touch criminal prosecution -- it will merely allow civil suits in the future, if it's enforced at all. In any case she only can identify one guy, because she was drugged.
Think before you post.
Can you imagine being a wife or daughter of one of those 30-white male senators? They'll never be raped of course. If they are, they'll get their day in court though. Everytime Al does something so good for people, I think what Norm Coleman would have said or done.
Back when we were getting set to invade Iraq for corporate business interests, Bush signed an executive order which stated that no American, or American corporation, could be held legally liable for anything they did in Iraq.
Almost as if he knew that Halliburton, KBR, and Blackwater would need legal immunity.
Thank you for covering this. Wolf Blitzer, Sean Hannity, Candy Crowley, Norah O'Donnell, Lou Dobbs, Campbell Brown, Tony Harris, Sanjay Gupta, Anderson Cooper, and Rick Sanchez are gonna be crazy jealous, though. This story is THEIR pet crusade. They've been hammering this story 24/7. It's easy for you to come along and rip off stories made significant by CNN. Just don't expect the MSM to STOP reporting on it because blogs are carrying it. It's too important, and they know that.
