Judge Sonia Sotomayor was sworn in as the 111th Justice of the Supreme Court at the Supreme Court of the United States. Chief Justice John Roberts administered the Judicial Oath in the East Conference Room before a small gathering of Judge Sotomayor’s family and friends.

and Chief Justice John Roberts couldn't even learn to pronounce her name correctly with 3 to 4 months time to learn it. He repeatedly called her (phonetically) Sota-may-or'. A 2rd grader taking an elementary Spanish class would learn how to pronounce vowels correctly on the first day of class. The correct pronunciation, Johnny, is (phonetically) Soto-my-or'.
