Now I would be surprised if ANY of you have heard of these people, much less read any of their writings.

There has been long line of hot air fans coming over DEMANDING left leaning people read Malkin's book. I've got to ask why. Why should we? Is Mrs Malkin a scholar? No. We see her talk about how hate filled the left is and screwing up her face while she does so, while she advocates the incarceration of people based on their race. She has been proven to be the kind of person who is not hindered by facts disagreeing with her view.

The reason I personally won't read her book is because it is predicated on an unreasonable hatred. She's alleges to go after a culture of corruption, yet was totally for corruption, war, torture and anything the Bush Cheney regime got up to.

She'll bend facts and figures to fit her agenda, and I just don't have time for that. I don't have time to refute right wing lies all day long.

I read through those [malkin site] comments about this thread to see if there were any good arguments for her book, but all I see there are exclamations about how great it is that she wrote it, what an great person she is, and how the left spews venom.

I'm reminded of befuddled adolescents not bright enough to say anything clever or pithy responding with, "OH, YEAH, WELL, WELL...FUCK YOU!" too, when I read Michelle Malkin's posts, her by-approval-only commenters slavishly agreeing and hanging on her every word.

At one point I was always amazed when the anti conservatives would would call conservatives haters. That was until Jr. became president and I listened to Air America. While we are all free to say what we want, for any left leaning person to berate a conservative for what they say is the ultimate of hypocrisy. I applaud those who wish to have a discussion on the issues. I am also quite certain that most who comment here have not read her book, including me. If I recall it didn't take the left long to vilify Jr.

Only seven months have passed since inauguration, but the biographies and actions of the people Michelle writes about were not created in that short amount of time. Michelle didn't do any original investigative work to uncover these stories, they've been right out there for all to see waiting for anyone to do what Michelle did. Michelle only compiled them and makes the obvious point that what was promised to be the cleanest, most ethical administration in the history of democracy just ain't so.
