Rachel Maddow talks to Slate's Dahlia Lithwick about the whether there is any truth to the spin by the right that Sonia Sotomayor is some super scary liberal "activist" judge. As Rachel points out if anyone actually take some time to look at her record, she's a moderate and is not the liberal alternative to Scalia or Roberts.

Thank you Rachel for bringing some real analysis to the idiotic gabfest that's been going on about Judge Sotomayor's nomination. I hope that this is just the beginning of reporting on the Judge's record as opposed to blathering about affirmative action and gender and ethnicity.
