He is just wonderful when he gives these speeches. I have to admire him for speaking openly.
America needs reminding of these things, and it's coming from the top.
I like and agree with his words, but I just hate that evangelical preacher delivery!
Still better than "put a sandwich on your family," or whatever dumbass remark that was.
So you all are still mesmerized by his copy cat style of speaking. This guy is a corporate dog. He sounds like MLK more and more each day but with nothing to back it up. Very inspirational but so full of shit. He ain't got nothing on Martin Luther. Just a lightweight hack. A real slick dick.
That's gonna be a long wait.
Obama ain't too big on deeds.
Never has been.
He played liberals for the saps that they are.
Even after he campaigned for Lieberman, they were touting him as being against the war in Iraq.
Now he's talking about cutting medicare and medicaid payments. That's his big health care plan.
Nobody cares.
Symbolism is all.
For now.
And his defenders say, "Say. He's only been in office for five, six, seven months. Give him time."
OK. Give me a ring when he does something that directly improves our lives.
He's in for a rude awakening when the "give him time" mantra runs its course.
He has a future in sales, however. Especially since Billy Mays is gone.

He was the evening news in my house until he retired. I didn't even know there was an NBC News or ABC News.

Theoretically I am a "colored" person. I'm kinda light tanish....probably have a fair bit of American Indian in my blood (Huron River, Ohio)...
After all the dust is settled and the DNA testing is done, I'd figure just about 99% of us are some kind of "colored" person.

We're actually kind of an ugly pinkish colour, with veins showing, and moles-n-stuff. It's kind of gross if you get up really close for examination.
Parts of me evenn turn purple, but only if you're very very friendly.
I'm about as Anglo-white as you get. English and Irish, off-the-boat grandparents, unless there are some dark ones. I know there are "black Irish," but that's black hair and blue eyes. I do tan up well, unlike my father who goes red.

My american dream is simple: 95% marginal tax rates after the first 5 million. That should take care of the criminals on Wall Street and the theiving CEO's.
Sceond, I owuld confiscate the 25% of total wealth the trust funders stole from the rest of us over the last 30 years. Spread around the wealth. Democracy anyone?
