John McLaughlin Still Pushing the Hillary in 2012 Nonsense

John McLaughlin wrapped up part one of his year in review show on PBS with pushing the rumor that Hillary Clinton might run against President Obama in 2012 even though that has been put to rest for some time now by Clinton herself who said she's not running for another elected office.
Pat Buchanan quickly threw water on the idea given that Secretary Clinton has a WikiLeaks problem which David Corn wrote about here at Politics Daily.
I'm surprised McLaughlin hasn't decided to pack it in yet given he's 83 years old now. The sad thing is PBS could always manage to replace the show with something even worse when he finally retires.
Eleanor Clift is the only Progressive on this awful show " The McLaughlin Group" and they constantly cut her off, talk over, and generally dismiss her as a lefty loon.

I don't know how Eleanor can stand being on this show, which is little more than a right wing yelling match with the participants trying to outdo each other to see who is the rudest and loudest boor. It is like a political version of a drunken bar brawl only the participants haven't quite got to the point of throwing chairs at each other---yet.
This irrelevant show should go off the air as soon as possible, it died a miserable death long ago. It is a perfect example of how degraded and sordid our political discussions have become.

I used to like the McLaughlin Group, especially after they ditched Fred Barnes. However, it has been unwatchable since they added Crowley.
McLaughlin has been a Hilary fan for a long time. I don't think his prediction about Hilary taking on Obama is all that far-fetched.
McLaughlin is largely irrelevant. I've never seen any of his predictions come true. He seems to terribly enjoy the sound of his own voice, that's the only lasting impression I get from watching his lame little show.
I remember him predicting the 2006 Democratic takeover of the House 20 months before that particular election. (Just saying. Not disagreeing with the overall comment.)

I remember, Bill Moyers getting kicked off PBS because the Stasi in the Bush Ministry of Propaganda thought he was too liberal (Yeah, all that truth and thinking and shit) then he was replaced by

I was going to ask what horse did he steal his blanket from. WOW is that loud. Why do we have to see Pat Robertson on every channel? He is, like Bloody Bill Kristol, wrong about everything he says. He bats 100% wrong and is still being treated as if he were the voice of authority.

I love this show. Even though I usually never agree what any of these guys have to say, but I really enjoy the chaotic banter between them.
I live overseas and it is one of the programs readily available over the web. My problem with the web archive of this show is that it is always weeks late by the time it posts and so out of date something else has my attention. They used to have a podcast, guess they can't afford it anymore and depend on a lonely admin to upload it to youtube at their leisure. LOL

From the flavor of the comments I read here I suspect most who commented are left of Karl Marx. There are those of us who read C&L, who aren't. And for that matter McLaughlin report is one of the better political comment shows on TV.
I happen to agree with McLaughlin - and LORD how I hope Clinton does run in 2012. I'd be one of her biggest supporters.
I, like most of you, brought into all that Obama "Change" nonsense back in 2008. So how's that "Change" thing working out for you now hMMM? Can you honestly say with a straight face that you believe we still would NOT have a "Public Option" in Obama's health care (and what a sad joke THAT is), if Hillary had been president?
