But the only people who would ask that question are the useless eaters - the corporate crowd - who live parasitically off the work of others. To them the only question is how much a return they get on their "investments".

They are BLIND to the FACT that HealthCare, Employment, Housing, Wasteful Military Spending, ETC - ALL affect the Economy.

I used to get unsolicited emails from Human Events. It is exemplary of everything that is wrong with the conservative movement. Vapid, racist, fundamentalist, incurious, and ideologically cocksure pap.

Since the internet has made studying media deception easy, I found the 'About Us' sections of conservative sources to be quite amusing. Usually they're shortish, with a certain amount of braggadocio, but these guys are pimping their subscription throughout their 'About Us' section. And their racism. I have not seen that in the past. I have taken out over half of their hyperbolic bragging, it was all good too. Sorry if this is long:

The one that pisses me off most of all is James Delingpole. I was always proud of the fact that America's extreme fearmongering ideology hadn't touched the shores of Great Britain, until I read his articles. Of course he's much less experienced than some of the long-standing American writers on Human Events, so his arguments tend to be much more juvenile and full of gaping holes and flat-out lies.

For example, he compared the current government to Margaret Thatcher claiming "Margaret Thatcher wouldn't export Salman Rushdie to Muslim extremist states". Spot the problem with this argument. Look! It's a game!

I don't know what you expect from CNN and John King. These are people interested in two things: Ratings and Ad revenue. If the last 8 years proved anything, it's that they don't do their job at all.

All the cable news networks follow the same formula: Slick graphics, serious music, followed by a 30 second overview and then hand it off to the pundit "experts" who scream at each other. Then the one on one interviews are mostly softball questions with skewed information.

Someone needs to start a network where the reporters just read the news.Oh and instead of anchors, call 'em "readers".

.....Cheney on the TeeVee being blown, I mean interviewed last night. I told my wife to switch channels immediately lest we turn to stone.
