One of John Boehner's more childish moments on the House floor tonight, asking Charlie Rangel for assurances on what's going to come out of the Conference Committee in the final bill, and cutting him off before he has a chance to answer him.

I did enjoy Charlie's response..'has anyone in this chamber ever given you a guarantee'?
loves to wrangle. There's a reason he makes wingnuts' hair on the back of their necks stand up and why they are so hot to get him out of office.
you can do it...The point of childish is a little weak...moronic was more to the point..Rangel is a true sparer and so courtly about the incredulous demands of the bottle tanned rep. It was laughable ..
sounded drunker than usual.
Intervention time?

He's an emotional drunk.

The only abortion Republicans are for are on the battlefield in the name of Halliburton and Exxon/Mobil
Anti abortion, pro war, pro death penalty. All just a matter of timing.
Also against welfare of any kind, even though a lot of unwanted children end up in that system. What is wrong with these people?
And yeah, MHJ he did sound drunk. What a dick.
Also against fedrul guvment run healthcare....except for their own.
It's amazing to me, that all these people care about is whether or not a woman can choose to legally terminate a pregnancy when so many other people are dying of cancer and other diseases and are not covered by healthcare of any sort.
Save unborn babies and then let them die later. Like I said, all a matter of timing.
they want to protect you. When you become aa living, breathing human being, you're on your own.
Twin sons by different
mothersspecies.will stoop to make political points and embarrass themselves at the same time?
Groveling to the wishes of far right base causes will turn any discussion into a political PISSING MATCH. If last week's election results are an accurate indicator of races to come... Democrats will probably pick up ANOTHER TEN OR TWELVE SEATS in the House next year... and maybe a SEVENTY-VOTE majority in the Senate!
I'm surprised it took them this long.
They must be getting desperate.
This was the main argument against Hillarycare.
There's already been a Supreme Court case that said it was okay to provide bus service to school kids after school, even if some of them might be using it to go to church, since the objective of the law was safe transportation. I'd have to do some research to get the name, and I'm fixin' to go swimmin'.
So if the government provides the money for health care without specification to it's health care use, they share no burden of conscience if it's used for an abortion.
Interrupt loudly. Never allow the opposition to complete a phrase let alone a sentence.
That way the very tiny brained will assume you're points are valid.
none of the health care bills ever provided funding for either abortion or illegal immigrants. The republicans are taking advantage of the health care issue to insert language that throws greater roadblocks to further their agenda on these issues.
taking advantage of stoopid 'Murkins' inability (or sloth) to read the bill's contents.
What did the Repukes do from 1994 through 2006?
What did they do from 2000 through 2008?
For a large portion of that time, they had the House, the Senate, the Presidency and 7/9ths of the Supreme Court.
Remind me, what exactly did they do about abortion during this time?
Why are so many of the people who would vote on a single issue like abortion so simple minded, that even with all of that inaction by the Repukes, they still can't figure out that they are being played for the fools they are?
doesn't represent me. There was a time one made me make some reckless decisions, but didn't do all my thinking for me.
Glad your wife sees you as multi-dimensional...
not married.
Same as you...
almost again, then got fast feat.
Unfortunately, I don't run as fast as I used to...
I wish I had one that would share the rent with me.
I'd settle for one that was deficit-neutral...
Does Bonehead care? Hell no, he just wants to b**** about something because he knows he's worthless, and he's just trying to feel important.

Political dogma always demands one-sided, blind acceptance that one side must always be superior to the other.
This is just how rude and ridiculous the "remnants of the gop" have become. boner is an absolute fool. Nice work Congressman Rangel.
Such a shameless, buffoon congressman you are mr. boner.
What a dick.
January 3, 1971.
Pretty secure gig.
Congress seems to be one of the few places left where Lifetime Employment is still possible.
No matter what Rangel promises Boehner isn’t going to vote for it.
This is what passes for logic in my area:
More meddling

Letter to the Editor
Twice a year, the government disrupts our lives so that we get more light in the summer when we don't need it and take it away in the winter, when we do. Are these really the people we want in charge of our health care?
Mrs. Kit Odom, Carrollton
Is the fact that it was the republicans who randomly changed when DST starts and stops.
The sun still comes up when it comes up and goes down when it goes down, but I still have a lot of electronics that automatically change based on the old schedule.
... or cry.
I seriously weep for the future of this country. Jesus H. Christ on a jumping pogo stick stupidity batman!
What's wrong?
Yup, it's the poison pill of health care reform, eh, Repukes? Slick use of a hot button issue to put the skids on health care for tens of millions of Americans. Good to see you finally found your footing on the throats of poor women. Nice. What about health treatment for gay lifestyle illnesses? Can't be paying for that, now can we? What about all those homeless hoards that get sick from exposure to the elements? And those drug addicts, and the obese, and yeah, you got the idea. Health care only for the healthy. And if you get sick? Die Quickly!
Towards the end of the debate last night, Steny Hoyer was the last person to speak regarding the Stupak Amendment before it went to a vote.
Hoyer said: "Republicans said they wanted 72 hours to review any bill. We gave then 5-6 months. They gave us 72 minutes (to read this Amendment.)"
Stupid is what it is.
