Janeane Garofalo Stalked by Hannity
Fox News recently sent out Griff Jenkins, one of its ambitious young stalkers ambush "reporters," to ambush Janeane Garofalo at a Boston appearance. Both Bill O'Reilly and Sean Hannity featured the clip; it would be interesting and I bet revealing to sometime get a look at one of these ambushes unedited.
In any event, it looks like Fox inspired another wannabe ambush reporter in the form of WBSM AM 1430's Ken Pittman. Apparently after writing this ambush piece urging fellow "tea baggers" to protest Janeane at the Somerville Theatre in Boston, the turnout was, shall we say, just a little smaller than Mr. Pittman had hoped.
Sam Seder had a bit of fun and called Pittman's radio show to ask him what happened to his protest.
Apparently Ken Pittman doesn't have any screeners for his show. For more on this story check out The Young Turks blog. I do agree with one of the commenters over there that it would have been nice for Janeane to have qualified her statement about the teabag protesters being racist. Not all of them were, but her point is one worth considering. If it's not racism, why weren't these people protesting while Bush was in office?

I think Janeane handled herself beautifully. After all, as she said, where were all these people protesting fiscal policy when Bush turned a budget surplus into the biggest deficit ever? Why were these people protesting high taxes when Obama was cutting taxes for 95% of the people? Where were the people chanting for secession during the Bush years? Do I think that every "tea bagger" was a racist? No, not all. But a good number of them were. And as for the ones who weren't, like the old saying goes - when you lie down with dogs, you wake up with fleas.
The tea baggers are idiots and so are Hannity and O'Reilly and their ambushers, but where does it get us to accuse EVERYONE who was at a tea party of being racist? Does anyone believe that none of those people would have been out there if we had a white Democratic president? I mean, really. Those people hate "liberals," no matter the color. That's not to say that there aren't plenty of racist Republicans, but stick to the issue, which is the audacious hypocrisy of these tea parties. The cries of racism just allow these Fox News yahoos to completely deflect the point that none of those people were out there when Bush and the Republican Congress were flushing our money down the toilet (not to mention that they'll get tax CUTS under Obama) and therefore have zero credibility. It makes you look foolish when you say something to the effect of "Did you see that one guy's sign? That proves all teabaggers are racist."
Monkey dolls, racist posters, etc. cannot be ignored. They are what they are. Denial does no one any good.

Teabaggery, because we hate our new President….
Well, I'm scratching my head about this teabag stuff.
If this is about taxes, why are you people protesting against Obama, who just cut your taxes?
If this is about "taxation without representation", why are you protesting against Obama, who was elected legally and won by a mile, whereas his predecessor had to disenfranchise voters illegally in Ohio and Florida, to win two squeakers?
If it's about deficits, then why didn't you protest when the GOP proposed their budget, which had an even bigger deficit? Why didn't you protest when Reagan and the two Bushes cranked up enough deficits to stack up our national debt from $1 trillion to $11 trillion?
If it's about intrusive, oppressive government, why didn't you protest the Patriot Act, the illegal detentions and torture under Bush?
If it's about nationalization and confiscation, why didn't you protest when Bush set us on this course?
Most of the things you’re bashing Obama for, would have made more sense for a protest against…Bush.
If this is supposed to be an expression of popular will against Obama, then why was Obama's popularity more than twice as high as the Republican party's, even before he wiped out those pirates?
If this is a spontaneous, grassroots protest against Obama's heinous crimes, then why does your band of loons look suspiciously like the band of thugs who "spontaneously" launched a riot in an effort to terrorize the Florida vote counters in 2000, a "spontaneous" effort which was actually orchestrated deliberately by Tom DeLay? Why does all the evidence show that this teabaggery nonsense was organized months ago by Republican lobbyists working for fatcat billionaires like Scaife and Forbes? Using expensive and complex organizing techniques like the robocalls which were made famous by the GOP attack machine last fall? All plotted out before Obama had even been sworn in, let alone enacting any policy?
So clearly this effort, set in motion months ago, was never about any policy that Obama is actually pursuing right now, because if it was, they would have protested against Bush long ago, for the same policies. No, this is about Obama himself, because he committed the terrible crime of beating the Republicans. The Republicans can't believe that after a 30-year, multi-million-dollar Republican propaganda effort to demonize all Democrats...America rejected the entire argument and elected the skeery black guy with the Muslim name.
The Republicans, amazingly, spent millions of dollars, and months of effort, on a national we-can't-believe-we-lost-this-bad-to-this-guy, sore-loser hissy fit. An unsportsmanlike tantrum. Deliberately making a public spectacle of their infantile inability to control themselves, clownish costumes and all. We're ill-mannered brats and proud of it!
When in U.S. history did a political party react so badly to an election loss, that they all decided to dress in Betsy Ross dresses and run out into the rain screaming nonsense? When Gore lost in 2000, did the liberals all get out their Star Trek Convention costumes, run into the streets and exhibit a national pandemic of collywobbles, tasering each other in the ass with their "phasers"?
These shrieking rightwing loons are the same people who insist they must lead the country because it's too dangerous to leave Obama in charge. Hmm....the twin towers of paranoia, delusions of grandeur and delusions of persecution (they're coming to take my guns, Ma!).
As Scarborough said so ably not long ago, to Norm Coleman – “You lost. It’s over.”

You have said it all. Thank you so much!
As for Hannity, his "that is one angry liberal" reference to Janeane Garofalo is absolutely mind-boggling! Janeane Garofalo is hardly "angry" in the same bitter, name-calling, ad hominem-attacking, wishing-failure-on-Obama Rush Limbaugh. Now THAT is an ANGRY whack job. Not Ms. Garofalo.
Thank you very much for that!! I couldn't've said it better.
Sean Hannity is simply a fucking career liar. Janeane Garofalo would obliterate Hannity in a debate.
Who lambasted Garofalo for her comment about crawling on broken glass during the ramp-up to the Iraq War?
How's that waterboarding for charity coming along, Sean?
He just lied and misconstrued everything Garofalo said. When Hannity called Garofalo angry while she stood up to that Fox stalker, I had to laugh.
are trying to outdo each other for the title of "Wingfucknut of the year".
I am so happy that C & L is covering this so I don't have to.
It is wonderful to not watch Fuck News and the other shill, CNN.

Right on the money. Little Sean doesn't like it when women show they have brains. Why do you think he loves Ann Coulter?
NOBODY 2012
The "tea baggers" didn't protest when bush was in office because Fox didn't tell them to protest. President Obama takes office and three months later Fox leads the charge encouraging the protest.
It's as simple as that.
Say what you mean. Mean what you say. But don't say it mean.
FOX and RUSH didn't tell them to protest. They can't do anything without kissing his fat cyst riddled ass.
.... paint Rush with gold leaf and rename him Baal.
!
gold leaf on the planet?
As far as Hannity goes, a cheap can of spray paint will do. One coat only and no primer, please.
so it might take several cans
"If it's not racism, why weren't these people protesting while Bush was in office?"
Because they are partisan Republicans.
Translating this into defacto "racists" is kinda dumb.
The democratic party is as full of racists as anybody.
And speaking of racism - can you believe that we still have a team called the "Redskins".
This term, equivalent to k-ke, or n-gger, or w-p, or other tasty examples of Americana, is even worse.
It refers to a bounty paid for the skins of dead Native Americans in lieu of having to show scalps or corpses.
But there's no panache in talking about the origins of our country when it concerned the slaughter and betrayal of its' original inhabitants.
Actually, I stood across the street from the Georgia capitol in Atlanta and watched a mess of lunatics make idiots of themselves. And I think you're missing the point regarding racists. There's no question in my mind that the source of the teabaggers' fury was Obama personally, and the idea that someone who didn't look like them was actually elected president. The seething undercurrent of race was palpable and I don't think you appreciate just how angry these people are.
Frankly, I wish they'd just go ahead and use the word so we can be done with it.
Angry, idiotic, bitter losers ready to burst a blood vessel because the President is a colored boy. Most of the placards were anti-Obama with obvious racial overtones.
pathetic teabaggers...
They want to drop the N bomb SO bad it's killin them...
They are very angry...but it's an impotent anger...
They stomp their feet, wave their flags, and pound their chests, railing against Obama because he's black...
NO matter what they say they're protesting against, taxation without representation, doesn't hold up under the slightest scrutiny...these teabaggers hate people that aren't white, and xtian...period.
Did anyone see ANY minorities at the "protests"? I didn't...
Being black myself, I was curious to see whether anyone other than the expected would show up. And there was one guy I spotted. But it was funny -- all of the news stations were hyper-sensitive to the racial overtones, and made a beeline directly to this guy, ostensibly as part of their effort to demonstrate that the event wasn't simply a latter-day Klan rally.
Funnier still was the fact that signs and other items with racist overtones were not shown on the news even though they were everywhere. Our local stations completely avoided getting in the middle of the issue.
Was he participating? Or just watching?
Oh no, they didn't want to show the real reason most were there.
I couldn't hear what he was saying when he was being interviewed because I was too far away to hear, but I saw him later on the local news. He claimed he was upset that states' rights were being abrogated, the debt was out of control, etc.
But yeah -- the local stations scrupulously avoided televising any footage of anything racially tinged, which was everywhere and couldn't possibly be missed.
Thanks, TeaEyels.
You could tell once Obama was elected, most of the Democratic operatives were licking their lips.
"Ha ha! Now if anyone criticizes our guy, we can call them racists! It's perfect!"
and get away with it, I see...
Alas, you projection exercise is doubleplusgood... we learn a big deal about you wingnuts whenever you blame something on them liberals. So it seems, following your projection exercise, that you guys were salivating at the fact that you can now say and blame Obama of anything, and anyone who dares call you on your shit... you guys can simply blame them of "playing the race card."
So that is your feeble plan all along, eh? No wonder you guys are bursting all those arteries because your bullshit ain't getting any traction no more.
LOL jackasses.
I think you'll feel more at home there with the other "Teabaggers":
http://www.jbs.org/
... you're absolutely full of shit, pal.
(Referring to wheyghey here.)
Go back to Trollville.
"Everybody is doing it" is the new excuse d'jour?
I assume all those minorities who vote overwhelmingly Dem must have not gotten the memo. You should let them know...
I think the tea baggers were hoping tea would wash away the taste of the "shit taco". (Thank you Jon Stewart for those two words)
I don't see this protest as anything more that a way to get attention and show their displeasure over the outcome of the last election. I would suspect way more than the majority of the tea baggers voted for McCain if they even voted at all. I would also suspect the two driving forces were either because the new president is a democrat or because he's black...or both.
Say what you mean. Mean what you say. But don't say it mean.
of the teabaggers.
They are simply doing this because they are sore losers. Of course, it doesn't exactly warm the cockles of their little red hearts that Obama is black..and has a Furrin sounding name.
A lot of them are also brainwashed by Fox Noise and haven't had an original idea in their head in about 10 years.
They are lemmings with a cliff in sight and a lead foot.
Now excuse me as I try to stop them.
Don't!
Stop!
Don't Stop!
Ole'!
Ole'!
I saw the initial interview with Garafolo on Countdown and was disappointed by her and Keith's lack of a challenge to her statement. It's hard enough trying to keep the facts straight with Fox spewing shit all the time. Wrong is wrong, no matter who says it.
All the teabaggers are racist? No. 50%? Easily.
Here's what worries me: I unfortunately know enough people who didn't vote for Obama in part because he's black. Mix in the conservative meltdown going on right now and you have an incredibly volatile brew.
60 million folks voted against Obama; a LOT more, if you count the ones who didn't vote at all...
Read it and weep.
Electoral vote 365 173
Popular vote 69,498,215 59,948,240
Percentage 52.9% 45.7%
that was Huuuuuge!
didn't cha know? The Dems are as bad as the GOP. A 10+ million vote differential is a "slight" win, unless it is the GOP winning by a slight 1 point margin... in which case it is a "clear mandate." And the fact that most teabaggers were of the pasty-white, ultra-conservative persuasion had nothing to do with racism... since those two are characteristics of super inclusive movements, right?
In any case, I am loving the red herrings the concern trolls are scrambling to come up with: "Jeanne Garofallo sez all those teabaggers were racist, when I just pull a percentage out of my ass that says only half were, boo hoo... why is she so mean to those poor tea baggers?"
Garofalo's statement that 100% of the teabaggers were ultimately motivated by racism is more than likely incorrect. It's an emotionally charged statement based on her frustration towards the "movement".
It is possible every single one of them is a dyed-in-the-white-sheet racist. It's also possible that I'll see the Jersey Devil sitting on my shed in the next 5 minutes.
Assuming that you're referring to my 50% remark: I absolutely pulled it out of my ass. It's merely a guess, based on the conservatives and GOP voters I know. I made no claim otherwise.
I'm all for Garofalo being mean to the teabaggers. They're idiots. I don't think the racism charged helped in this case.
95% though...not so much
It unfortunately seems that way...
And everyone knows that the Jersey Devil was simply swamp gas reflecting off Uranus!

This is a little too close to "Boo hoo, the liberals say we're being too mean to the terrorists" for my comfort. But maybe that's just me. Carry on attacking any poster who isn't as reactionary as you.
And Fox (Beck, et al) are stirring that volatile brew every day.
Say what you mean. Mean what you say. But don't say it mean.
in order to back up your statements, right?
was a racist, per se.
Mebbe some of 'em were just there for the party...

just sayin'

Protesting against a black president doesn't PROVE racism, even if he's doing exactly what Bush did. However, a lily-white crowd with more than a smattering of Confederate flags does. Here, in Washington state, which didn't even exist during the Confederacy.
what a great pickup line, an ice breaker as it were.
wow!
regardless, i would say that the teabaggers are motivated more so by the fact that the president is a democrat and that the republicans seem to blindly support any other republican leader even if he leads us off a cliff (which is then followed by a stiff percentage of those motivated by racial divides).
ultimately, ken pittman will make a great tom tomorrow charicature, he has the face for it;

Oh my god, I am an angry liberal and I'm bitter. I often lay on the floor and pet my little dog. I had no idea why I did that until I watched tha video. Until now I just thought I did it because I love my dog and he loves for me to be on the floor playing with him.
Say what you mean. Mean what you say. But don't say it mean.
I hope they have that guy Ken Pittman on suicide watch. He has to be feeling like the world's biggest fool with his it didn't happen protest.

Nah, he doesn't feel like the world's biggest fool. These bonehead conservatives have no conscience; they don't care what anyone thinks, even if they make utter fools of themselves.
That video was hilarious

it would have been nice if she had tamed it down a bit. Of course she doesn't believe that every teabagger is racist. It would seem to me that she got caught up in the moment and made a very broad statement. I can understand why when you have a combative "reporter" in your face poking at you for a comment. I do find it funny, though, that Griff did not want to talk to her, he just wanted to attack her. He wouldn't answer when she asked where these protesters were for the last eight years. He just kept going back to what he came there for.
I definitely find it funny that BillO was offended when he does the same shit every f'ing day!
a lot of this teabag stuff would have taken place even if Obama was completely white. Unfortunately, alot of the right's reaction is because of his color as well, if not more so.
Has anyone looked up the definition of teabagging. I did and it's not pretty. Yet at the same time, considering the republicans these days, it doesn't seem out of place.
That was freaking hilarious! I hope more people call into Pittman's radio show to razz him!
One thing I'd like to know: certain people on Faux News have praised the TV show "24" because of how Jack Bauer treats terrorists.
Don't get me wrong....I also like "24," but it is only a fantasy...but I have to ask these kooks that if they think "24" should represent what we do to terrorists, I wonder what they think of Janeane being on the "good guys'" side in that show this season?
... that if I ever run for public office, part of my platform will be the construction of an armored space station with enough firepower to destroy a planet.

This is Bush's $3 Trillion Budget year with some adjustments.
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,327268,00...
WASHINGTON — President Bush's 2009 budget will virtually freeze most domestic programs and seek nearly $200 billion in savings from federal health care programs, a senior administration official said Thursday.
The Bush budget also will likely exceed $3 trillion, this official said.
Bush on Monday will present his proposed budget for the new fiscal year to Congress, where it's unlikely to gain much traction in the midst of a presidential campaign. The president has promised a plan that would erase the budget deficit by 2012 if his policies are followed.
Bush will propose nearly $178 billion in savings from Medicare -- a number that's nearly triple what he proposed last year. Much of the savings would come from freezing reimbursement rates for most health care providers for three years. An additional $17 billion would come from the Medicaid program, the state-federal partnership that provides health coverage to the poor. The cuts would come over five years.
Obama's First Budget Year will begin October 1, 2009.
Why are Private insurance companies making claims of Medicare patients treated by Volume not quality?
After Republicans have reduced Domestic Spending by Cutting Medicare benefits to a point Doctors can't afford Office Rent or staff on such low income; what else should we expect?

baaad things, true things, about the Bushistas.
Why aren't they stalking Jesse?
Could it be because Jesse is not a ninety pound female?
Hell of an idea!
I just sent an email to Hannity and BillO, asking if they might send Jesse Waters or Griff Jenkins to stalk Jesse Ventura. It sure would be entertaining, and I know it would bring in the ratings!
Could make medical history. Doc Ventura performs an impromptu colonoscopy on Mr. Waters with his own camera.
The home of stalkers and cowards. I wish they would try to run up on Ventura. Just give me time to grab some popcorn.

"I'll put it to you this way, you give me a water board, Dick Cheney and one hour, and I'll have him confess to the Sharon Tate murders."
It's worth watching the entire Larry King/Ventura interview. It should still be available on Huffpost.
Ventura's a very smart, astute guy. I never paid much attention to him, but after seeing that interview, I was really impressed. He seems to be a true independent progressive, a combination of old-style moderate Republican and social progressive.
Too bad he's not still in politics.
Did you happen to catch Joe and Mika's reaction on Morning Joe to what Jesse said on Larry King? They talked about him like he was nothing more than a laughable buffoon. Somehow, Joe "I knew we were less safe by the second day of Obama's administration" Scarborough felt perfectly justified mocking and dismissing an ex Governor and Navy Seal veteran who actually went through the SERE program and was waterboarded. I was disgusted.
I love that Janeane pwned that big hulk. Sure she may be wrong about all of the teabaggers being racist. So what? She is partially right and she stood her ground.
The Seder stuff is great. I'm gonna watch it again.
We had our teabagging here in Appleton too.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MWyvDJvd340
The signs of sore losers were being displayed.
It was a generalization, but if people complained about Janeane calling them racist, then they are racist.

I knew a number of people attending the rally here and some of those are always the ones with unfunny racist jokes. So yeah, I'm sold.
I know for a fact racism is alive and well and festering in the Republican Party.
Garofalo exaggerated, but so what. She made her point and she doesn't need to apologize to anyone.
And when she countered this Jenkins asshole with facts, he just ignores them. Why didn't Fux News do a report on how many of the protesters were holding up racist signs? Because they need to EMBRACE their racist voters, who are an important voting block for them.
Oh BTW, this Jenkins clown just happened to be sipping a latte at Starbucks when Garofalo walked by MY ASS.
I hope all those f-wads at Fox News keep it up. Any moderate with half his brain tied behind his back won't go near the stinking GOP.
but I can't believe people actually waste their lives away watching these Fox shows like O'Reilly and Hannity or even take them seriously that's even more revealing.
that they organize a protest and nobody shows up.
on that FOX torture show, "24."
I hope the program has a guest appearance by the Dixie Chicks next.

That said, they are fairly decent to their employees, as is MS. Wal Mart is not. I guess that's the diff between a big big Seattle biz and a big big Arkansas biz.
me-oww!
But the way they drive the independent coffee houses out of business, IS like MS and Wallyworld.
Just comes so naturally for a republican!
The right wing seems openly hostile to intellectuals- Just note their admiration of MORONS like GW Bush, Joe the plummer and Sarah Palin, not to mention their rejection of science.
An intellectual debate between Sean Hannity and Janeane Garofalo would not be possible, as Janeane Garofalo IS an intellecual, and Hannity is a simpleton.
Janeane Garofalo appeared at the nearby Somerville Theatre, right outside of Boston- and I confess I missed her appearance that night in favor of catching Star Trek in the same theatre...
Somerville is a very liberal town- HUGE gay population, and many spillover lefties from adjacent Cambridge. i just enjoyed talking to like minded liberals who were there to see her show..
Janeane slapped down these Reslug gnats quickly. Proud of her.

I would love to see the look on millionaires Hannity and O'Reilly's faces when they get their tax bills next year. That's the real reason they hate Obama and will do everything they can to derail his agenda and the mandate he was given on behalf of the American people in a free and fair election.
Well, I guess we now know the truth about Griff Jenkins, he’s a latte’ drinking liberal elitist; who else would be drinking a latte’ at Starbuck’s on a sunny Friday afternoon. I bet he even secretly uses Dijon mustard. Maybe he’s undercover at Fox – Nay, he’s just an idiot!
I saw that interview with Olberman and Garofalo did not offer one piece of evidence to support her claim that this was all about racism. Bob Somerby, incidentally, made the same observation and he ought to have some cred here even if I don't. And even if a few protesters had racist signs and such that doesn't prove that the majority were racists.
Republicans are crazy in the head about government helping people and childishly irresponsible about paying taxes. This would be true if the president was as white as Joe Biden. Just because Fox is full of assholes does not make Janeane Garofalo right or intellectually responsible. The way I score it, both sides are behaving like jerks here, though Fox does, however, obviously deserve extra special asshole bonus points for their stalking tactics.

Racists like Sean Hannity, Bill O'Reilly and Rush Limbaugh sure don't like being called racists, do they? In fact, the racist Fox News network seems bent on attacking liberals that pin the 'racist' label on them.
At some point maybe it will be easier for these racists to simply stop being so racist. Then we could stop calling them racists. But in the meantime, it's really, really true.
Oh, and they're bigots, too. Of course, with smirking psychotics like Hannity and O'Reilly, it can be hard to tell if they actually have any beliefs other than a love of money and attention. But I'll call them racists because they do propaganda for racist Rupert Murdoch's racist network.
nothing but whining bitches. All they do is whine. They think Janeane is "bitter". They should listen to themselves for the best example of what bitter really sounds like. Jenkins claims that he is a reporter. He's more like a paparazo or a stalker. There is nothing journalistic about what he does. And what is it about the comedians that Fox loves to attack? What's up with that? Could it be that there may be more than just a kernel of truth in the humor that these comedians employ that they just can't stand, that drives these wingnuts crazy? Looks like pure jealousy to me.
The Somerville Theatre is in SOMERVILLE, not Boston. Somerville is just outside Boston.
I have to wonder why Hannity didn't also send his stalkers there to 'ambush' U2 when played the Theatre recently. One would think that Bono's work on behalf of, say, African debt relief would draw his reactionary ire.
Maybe the thought of there being massive crowds everywhere scared them away.
I am going to have to go with Janeane on this one. While it may be true that some of the people at these tea bag protests were not racist, when I see someone holding a sign saying our President is a terrorist sympathizer, hes not American, show us your birth certificate, Obama Bin' Lyin, welfare king, and that kind of crap, it is my logical reaction to assume that person is of low intelligence and harbors feelings of resentment to people who don't look like them. What we intelligent and accepting people call racism. And while not everyone was holding a sign at these rallies, the people standing next to the sign holders didn't seem to mind what they said. So I can only assume their complicity and agreement. So in my opinion, yeah they are all ignorant racists.
First Amanda Terkel, and then Janeane. They really have no shame and no sense of how cowardly they appear by stalking and harrassing petite women.
They don't deserve to be called men. What woman could respect those kinds of creeps?
I've never seen change without a fire
Just look into the camera and repeat "Mackris!" over and over and over.
would have loved that. The next ambushee needs to do that.
But would it make the air?

They are of course Sociopaths. And you can't talk reality with them.
There is a solution to this problem - but no one has landed on it yet. Unfortunately ambush journalism completely appeals to the troglodyte base of these wankers. They're all about dishonest confrontation.

It's the same crowd sold on right wing hyperbole. In their eyes, Obama is a marxist, a socialist, even a terrorist. Anything but black, of course.
Poor washed up Janeane Garofalo...
A mann (sp), a bear or a pig?
Perhaps you're even more washed-up ...
in took him all of 12 weeks 5 days to come up with that ONE comment.
me-oww!
Does he look good in lip stick?
What is your conceptual, continuity?
When they jump out of the bushes, pull out your own video camera and record the whole thing from your POV. An unedited reference.

whooped ass! I loved it. Ol' Griff couldn't handle the truth. Neither could BillO and Ins-hannity. They got their teabags handed to them.

Racist? Grow up.
I supported the Tea Parties and will continue to. Why dont you 'report' something by attending one instead of bashing something you know absolutely NOTHING about? All right wingers? Hardly. I wouldnt count on the information here being accurate. If a Republican says something it must be terrible. Right?
The Republican Party needs to go away. For good, forever.
Yes. And it was more than 'a' Thug. It was most of them, and Rush, Hammity, Beck all of the FOX 'News' 'Family' was in on it, and no one told you.
If you think that was some 'tax protest' you are an idiot. And a tool of FOX 'News'
me-oww!
Awww the Rethuglicans are now afraid of the comedians, poor little babies, don't be afraid Sean even though she is smarter and funnier than you, your job as an conservative tea bagger is safe and sound.
qualify her answer on "Countdown" a couple of weeks ago when she said that the Tea-baggers didn't care anything about tax's, pro or con, but rather the tea-baggers were a group of people who don't have the nerve(like all racists)to say that they are furious because there is a BLACK MAN in the White House!
Good job Janeane Garofalo, couldn't help but notice that they avoided primary question like the plague.
Goodnight, Frau Blücher
Nothing to qualify. She's right.
I was going to turn off the vid after watching
Janeane deal with the big bad FOX stalker but looking at
snappy conservative GRIFF "The Gift" Jenkins
kinda made me wanna get sick with nonstop projectile green emmissions.
I can just see the producer at Fox saying "get me a young dorky
conservative answer to liberal mean tattoo girl...& not too gay
either...way'll, maybe a little gay is OK. Check out the log cabin
boys and see what they got & make it snappy"...as he rolls & licks his
Havana between thick & generous lips, just the way Rush does it. What a forgetful scene.))
Lol I have been smitten since I saw "the truth about cats and dogs" and it hasn't ever left me. I love her willingness to fight these bastards.
So one person out of the celebrities we know is going to point out publicly what we all know is fast becoming more and more true, everyday...
The evidence is overwhelming but Janeane is going to be the only one to point it out?
What are we waiting for, the publicl proclamation over the air of them all yelling, "KILL THE ******!"
like the good old days?
The attendees are white or want to be and the 'want to be's' are in small supply.
The numbers dwindle even further the farther south you go.
This vocal group of loosely similar White people share a willingness to believe ANYTHING produced by the Right Wing propaganda machine, no matter how obvious the fiction. They vehemently and almost unintelligibly attack anyone who dissents in packs, even responses from credible sources and in some cases, in their own circles.
When you've been around Racism, it's familiar and very palpable and you can feel Race hatred underpinning almost every word becoming stronger and stronger as time goes on. Why no one else who has media exposure has the guts to call it what it is has amazed me for many weeks now. I laughed with friends about it, when I became aware of the ludicrous idea that "The South" actually might be worried about some sort of "Black Mans Revenge" Obama was cooking up for them. When I realized how close to the mark this all heading, I stopped laughing and began to make ready a mindset that we may actually have to fight with other Americans again over an issue that needs to be brought out into the light of day and executed metaphorically in full view of the American media and public. Charges need to be drawn into law that make race crime punishable by life imprisonment or death and enforce it, no matter what the cost. Make those who practice it unable to hide under laws protecting free speech. Because it is NOT free speech. Racism is designed to imprison a whole group of people with definitions designed for the sole purpose of dehumanizing them.
The only possible end result of Racism is the attempted destruction of the persecuted group.
Ending it as an issue in our lifetime is unlikely, but we can make it cost a whole lot more for those who practice it.
