Glenn Beck just can't understand why anyone would dare to call him a fear monger. I'm just surprised it was the likes of Bill O'Reilly saying it to him. It's pretty pathetic when Bill O'Reilly starts sounding like the voice of reason.
After Bill'O shows the clip of Rep. Bob Inglis saying Glenn Beck trades in fear Beck defends himself by noting a panel discussion he had earlier on his show, but he somehow fails to mention this: Visions of Nazis are dancing in Glenn Beck's head. At least the advertisers are responding to his hatred.

I don't think Bill O was asking Beck because he cares about what Beck thinks. These interviewers ask hard "set-up" questions in order to give someone a chance to defend themselves. O'Reilly is the same as Beck. Don't forget "Tiller the baby killer". O'Reilly and Beck are siamese twins separated at birth.

He is not so much a fear-monger as he is a rabble-rouser, a Reich-Wing agitator, and an instigator of violence.
Glenn Beck, Lou Dobbs, Rush Limbaugh, and Bill O'Reilly don't belong on the Public Airwaves or on Cable TV. There are already laws on the books to deal with their ilk, like the US Patriot Act(s) and the Military Commissions Act. They are Domestic Terrorists who belong in razor-wire cages at Guantanemo Bay. They are far more dangerous than Most of the Current Occupants currently there. Many/Most of the "enemy combatants" at Gitmo are there because of mistaken identity, generic round-up of bystanders, or due to greedy partisans bearing false witness for the reward.
OTOH, our "domestic terrorists" have publicly proven their value as instigators of violence. They need to be "extreme renditioned" to some overseas CIA "black site" and "interrogated" until they confess their "crimes against the state".

How do we protect ourselves from the machinations of ignorant and superstitious agitators like Beck, Limbaugh, Hannity, etc. These men are dangerous, as they are facilitating the rise of a vicious minority of uneducated and indolent fools, led by base and ignorant elected buffoons, whom are incapable of, or unwilling to recognize the basic facts of social evolution.
Real health care in America may be the battle that wins the culture war these insufferable asshats have been waging for five decades; it's a battle progressives finally must win.
And I'm NOT saying that progressive values aren't worth fighting for, but Limbaugh-Beck-Hannity are all taking advantage of a fear conservatives simply can't shed.
They're afraid of change and the loss of control it portends for them. Unfortunately, change is a constant. So the fear they have, whether it be of gay marriage, black presidents, whatever ... all stem from this fear of change.
And, try as we can, we'll never get them to acknowledge change is beneficial and positive. So it's not so much that we have to go all gung-ho and fight them on their terms, we need to find the breaking point at which their own arguments self-destruct and suck the rest of their sorry agenda down into hell.

Just got off the phone with the National Customers service executive for State Farm at headquarters thanking him for their correction and taking a stand for moderation.
He stated "State Farm is made up of employees of all political persuasions. ...though it is getting ugly and mean out there. the advertising on Glenn Beck was a mistake."

Beck, thru all his crazy rants and specials on Germany lately and all his PROVEN self-contradictions - the latest on health care whe he ranted vehemently against the US health care system when at CNN and recently defended the VERY SAME SYSTEM as the best on the planet at cluster-fox. Needless to say, Beck needs to keep better notes.
But, after all is said and done, Beck could have learned something last night from Bill Clinton speaking at Netroots Nation in Pittsburgh about leadership, about telling the truth and about engaging with others of incredibly diverse backgrounds to try and forge a better (mutually defined) future for the American people but also as humanity in general.

They don't believe the loss of 5000+ soldiers and wounding of 10s of thousands more is terrible. They don't believe Americans, kidnapping innocent men from other countries, not involved in Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan, part of AlQuada, the Taliban, etc, holding them forever on the basis of a Right Wing lie and an alcoholics fantasy of who the Boogie Man is, is terrible!
They believe it's RIGHT and JUST that 22000 innocent Americans DIE each year, INCLUDING CHILDREN just because they are not wealthy or because they got sick and the profiteering insurance company CEO, in order to increase his bank account, took away their insurance just as they needed it the most. They don't think the obscene pay of those CEOs, amounts that would pay for all 22000 of those people's lives to be saved is "terrible". In fact they think it's wonderful because to them, those 22000 people DESERVE to die anyway. They don't CARE about a 12 year old dying because he couldn't get an abcessed TOOTH fixed. Not to mention all the other children. They only care about UNBORN children. Once they're BORN none of them CARES ONE BIT WHAT HAPPENS TO THEM, even stating that HUNGER IS GOOD FOR CHILDREN.
So many horrible things have been done and supported by the Right Wing Christian Pretenders that they have supported and defended and encouraged, but "Something Terrible" will happen if the "little people", the ones who work themselves to DEATH making billions for CEOs just might get healh care instead of a death sentence at the hands of the leeches of society who produce NOTHING but get all the dollars made from the labors of those "little people".
WHY? Because they believe that IF everyone has health care that if THEY get sick, they might have to stand in line behind some POOR person, worth LESS financially or class wise, and THEY might not get treated first.
THEY might have to FOLLOW some POOR, inferior person, someone who's wearing a $3.00 thrift store dress, instead of a $3000.00 designer SUIT into the doctor's examination room and SIT on the same table that "nasty, worthless" POOR person SAT ON and CONTAMINATE THEIR SUIT and they will have to rush home and change and send it to the cleaners to get the cooties off and clean their cadillac seat covers too.
Believe me, the more you listen to what they are saying, the more you will realize that I'm right about this. In spite of anything else you might hear from either side, listen to the WORDS and hope that those "protesters" who are actually protesting their OWN best interests because of lies they've heard will pay more attention because THEY are just pawns to the Right And Right Leaning politicians and those same politicians who are USING THEM are laughing all the way to the bank as they fight anything that might help them.
