From the 1961 Operation Coffee Cup Campaign against Socialized Medicine as proposed by the Democrats, then a private citizen Ronald Reagan Speaks out against socialized medicine.
The cure for conservatism is getting out of the pews and into the classrooms. Conservatives know this that's why they are pro-religious indoctrination and anti-education.
I see that mr Beck is still doing comedy, only now its supposed to be commentary on "Fair and Balanced" Fox News. Or is it Commentary/News now on Fox? Not really news anymore just opinion. Those days are gone. Impartiality, actual Journalism, are things of the past....you can thank Pres Ronald Regan for that. Glen has had some practise being a jerk..or did it come naturally so he didnt have to rehearse that much?
Its all spin now on the media. Just pick your side and be divided into Left and Right. When people form groups...you use group psychology on them. You know just what to say and do to mold them, steer them. Just like in the Army..take individuals separately...put them in a group...depersonalise them...and walah you have an army to carry out your commands. Only, though, the commands are disguised as opinions from jerks like Glen Beck.
...I think Kids in the Hall could sue and win! Hell, they could run this right after Beck and some Fox viewers wouldn't even notice. I'd rather watch The Kids though, as they never raped and murdered a girl in 1990 like Beck allegedly did.
I don't for a second believe that Beck raped and murdered a girl in 1990, though he had the opportunity, motive and has not fully accounted for his whereabouts at the time. Beck remains only an ALLEGED rapist and murderer in my mind, but I'm looking for him to address the situation and give us an alternative explanation. Just asking the question...
I'm pretty sure that everyone knows that it isn't Glenn Beck... heck it even says Kids in the Hall in the title and Beck doesn't have an outrageous Canadian accent. Also, this isn't a portrayal of Stephen Harper considering this clip came from circa 1993.
It must be sad to go through life afraid of speech with ethics, morals and family values. If liberal talk radio and TV has such a large following, why is it constantly failing?
If the blue states do really control the voting block of America, why so few listeners (and sponsors)?
Leave the academia and network media behind and find your own truth. Believe no one source, without verification. Believe no one cause, because we all put spin on the truth. Believe no one who may have an alterior motive for spinning the truth.
Pretty much eliminates government, networks and FOX, doesn't it?
If the mouthpiece is popular, then the spin is probably inflamatory and pandering to a single cause. Look for those who have small audiences because their message is painful to hear. We are all the problem and hiding behind you humor and denigrating the opposition will not shield you from the ugly reality of too much government power.
Re-examine yer pretzel logic there my friend. As your last paragraph clearly contradicts your first paragraph.Anyway, according to you,I'm not supposed to believe you anyway. Now I've got a headache.
You make some good points. The reason liberal radio has fewer sponsors is they tend to be pro labor. Management makes the buying decisions. Ratings are improving for progressive radio but many factors are involved from signal strength to how often their audience actually uses radio. I think that you would agree that all that is just noise anyway
If you recognize that the power in the government lies with the corporations and big money then yes there is to much government power. If you see it being in the hands of the people then there is far to little government power. Big money is eating us alive.
unique, off the wall...and so spot on with their perspectives on people, big business, and families, not to forget their rather strange characters (i.e. Cabbage Head & the Chicken Lady)...and who could ever forget the 'head crusher'!
They made tv worth watching for a few years...like Monty Python's Flying Circus did so many years ago.
David Foley, to acquaint those Americans unfamiliar with TKITH, starred in the U.S. show, NewsRadio.
Oh, I do miss The Kids...
As for the comparison to Glenn Beck...not so sure. I think Dave was going for full-on paranoia here...but Glenn, I tend to think he's much more just about calculated ratings & money than anything else.

..we need to fear..its Conservatism!!
Conservatism is a 4 letter word X 3.
I think he was being genuinely facetious here. Mostly. Sad story about this guy; he went nuts later in life.

But he forgot to stick his tongue out and drool.

it appears that beck clearly lifted his schtick from them. I hope they at least get some royalties.
They were wild. I loved that show!
Here's one of my fave sketches:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kbETsbv1NZ4&fe...
Britian's 'Monty Python's Flying Circus'...
Both shows were brilliant, and had a similar style of humor..

certainly had his visionary hat on when he did that sketch.
I'm telling you, if you like Monty Python, you'll LOVE kids In The Hall..The Doors fan sketch was my favorite Kids in the Hall sketch..
