Ed Schultz's Recap of Republican Talking Points on Health Care
In his Psycho Talk segment,Ed Schultz has a gang of Republicans repeating the talking points given to them from The Lewin Group, Frank Luntz and Alex Castellanos for his latest edition of Psycho Talk.

right into your homes with this jack boot, in step march thru the complicit media. Ed's spot on to point it out and he's got the balls and spine to say so. There aren't enough Ed Shultz' out there to suit me. Let's call out these liars like he does and stop the noise their making from drowning out the good signal.
Ed Schultz is on point with this commentary. If the Dems could get on the same wavelength as the president, then maybe we can get this done! At least he has the guts to tell them like it is.

listening to our local NPR station the other night, on my way home from a difficult day at work (I'm a nurse in an ICU unit in a very large inner-city hospital in Las Vegas) and I tuned into the local political show featuring a couple of Nevada's finest Republican dipshits spewing their talking points.
Bob Beers (yes, that's really his name)threw out a few stats, I believe that he said that there were 65,000 uninsureds in Nevada and immediately launched into talking about how 6,000 of them were young men, that were from their late teens to mid twenties, that had good jobs and were offered insurance coverage, but did not purchase it. He mentioned something about them being more concerned with a downpayment on a Harley than keeping themselves covered.
I immediately thought, fine, they would rarely use or need it, but what about the other, roughly 90%? Of course, he didn't address those people. The people that don't have jobs, couldn't afford the coverage if they were offered it, are disabled, are young, etc. And that is what they do. They don't ever offer anything of substance, they don't ever talk about the issue in a straightforward manner. They find a small, almost non-issue that will get their goofy followers all incensed and they run with it.
humanities ills.
Tell me that if it was a liberal who was referencing something called the Lewin Group that the Repugs wouldnt be calling it something like the Lewinsky Group and berating them, it's only because they are putting money in the repugs pocket that they would stand up for anyone.
of the people that have been paid to give the opinions they spouse.
republicanism is a mental illness!
and we feel sorry for the US liberals who will be disappointed when they are sold out to the congressional-corporate-pharma complex.
But we will secretly laugh behind out crocodile tears -- yes, we Canucks have only had single-payer "socialised" medicine for 50 years, and we do NOT want you to get it too.
Similarly, we don't want USers to catch on to our high quality inexpensive higher education system.
After all, if USers get Canadian-style healthcare and education, then our huge advantage in manufacturing productivity might be in jeopardy.
:)
conspiracy!
Anyone with a voice on MSNBC and who is rising up in the White House Press Corps this quickly? I figure there _has_ to be an angle. And I've expressed my opinion last year that I wasn't very impressed with Schulz, but his stand on a public option health care system this year could make a believer of me. He's been passionate, persistent and seems sincere. Probably our best media voice on the issue.
I have to have some crowpie, I expressed doubts about Ed when he got the gig. On the radio he had/has been at times, factually challenged. He has grabbed this issue like a pit bull and delivered. He is the ONLY person on television to out the frank luntz talking points and smacked down some republican 'strategist' when they started to bullet point them and said 'speak for your self, we don't let frank luntz' talking points go by here'. A line like that should be in the rhetorical arsenal of every progressive making the stand about health care reform. He is also very strong in his antipathy for liz cheney. Thank you Ed.
I must admit, there has been some promising momments from his TV show.
Psycho Talk is amusing in a display of sarcasm and hipocrisy of the right. Which constantly requires display under the microscope.
Yet he does bring on some guests that are interesting and meaningful.
Anyone vcare to watch Hannity instead?
on the radio. I was not impressed at first but the more I listened the more he made me think!
This man is as gutzy with the facts as limpbow is with his lies. I have not watched him except through clips but I do agree he is on point with healthcare! Centrists may have found a mouthpiece for truth!
Ill have to pay more attention to the MSNBC schedule --Heaven knows we get nothing from NBC, CBS, Fox, and the rest!
I love the guy. I love his show.
Why don't some wealthy liberals put out a commercial like this? The American people need to know just who the republicans (Lexis Group) think are healthcare experts and provide their talking points.
If healthcare does pass, it will be a tremendous success - compared to the current corporate welfare system. Democrats and independents will be able to use these republican morons in their own words, to keep them in the minority for many decades!
"ALL Americans have healthcare." That old lady nutjob from Virginia should be toast next time around.
Rush Limbaugh is what a smart person thinks a stupid bigot sounds like.
She's not from Virginia. That fear mongering reactionary conservative is Virginia Fox from North Carolina......there is no congressperson Carolina Fox from Virginia btw:)
Ed's the man! An Alan Colmes milquetoast liberal he isn't.
