I see this idiot at the gym and every "poll" he has is some snide backhanded comment about the Obama adminsitration designed to skew heavily in favor of his viewpoint so his sympathetic viewers can back him up. For the past weeks, I have to sit down and write copious amounts of code. So I am behind a #$@#@ computer screen for long periods of time, solving some cool problems. Therefore, observing some dumbass using the same tool, a computer, to post utter nonsensical propaganda.... sort of provides a weird context to the silliness of it all.
Trolls also help me prepare for the onslaught of FOX-talking points that usually ensue whenever I have to stop by my in-laws. Their groupthink is scary... literally, I have read some troll post in the morning. And then in the evening my FIL said the same talking point/position/news item word for word. It is like they are beamed instructions by the mothership on a daily basis or something...

After Obama won I took part in a phone poll. Questions like do you love Obama or just faun at his feet? So his approval ratings were really high after the poll!
Now the poll questions are "do you approve of the way he's burning the capitol down" I wonder why his ratings are falling!
Why can't they just ask real questions in their polls in stead of using them to prove their points?! Obama is such a breath of fresh air after the years of lies we lived through can't we let him try to do his job before we start picking opponents to run against him?

I agree with some of the things Lou Dobbs says but his arrogance and condescending style more often than not makes him hard to watch. He acts like he knows everything, has all the answers, belittles people who disagree with him with snide, insulting comments, a very Bill O'Reilly-esque way of "interviewing" people, although Lou doesn't scream and carry on like a mad man like O'Reilly does. But as soon as he (and O'Reilly) get on their high horses and start degrading and insulting others in their "I-Know-It-All" way, I simply turn them off or switch channels. I can only take both of them in very small doses.

First of all President Obama did NOT apologize for anything. I am more concerned that the President feels compelled that he has to travel throughout the world to repair relations with other countries because of what the Cheney/Bush administration destroyed in the eight years they were in power. No other President in our history has had to repair damage like the Cheney/Bush administration has wrought.

I fear that the US has made implacable enemies in many countries where governments may realize that a political party and its leaders are responsible for the country's good and evil, but the people may not know that. How about taking a deep breath and enjoying the fact that this president isn't going to embarrass the hell out of all of us when he goes to other countries. That's worth the price of admission to me.

It's about time someone apologized to the world for our reckless disregard for other countries and their people.
