Dick Armey does his best to distance himself from the controversy filled Tea Party Convention where Sister Sarah is lining her pocket for her speaking engagement there. Given some of the anger over the event this is not surprising.

Hell yes, Phillips and others have figured out a way to play to these fools while taking every dollar out of their wallet. They are playing these people for suckers and as soon as the suckers figure it out they may not find tea baggin' parties so much fun any more.

Republicans are obstructionists that could care less about governing, we saw what happened after 12 years, they passed bills with no intention of funding them. If they ever get their greedy hands on control of the Country again they will just keep pushing the same old ideas that got us into this mess and drag everyone down with them. I'm a little confused, why are the right wing elitist now trying to distance themselves from the tea baggers? These teabaggers are just plain ignorant. Their motto is Taxed Enough Already. It's not the their taxes that are the problem. It's the fact that America has been taken over by large corporations. It's the fact that most of Congress has been bought off by monied interest. This is a largely conservative phenomenon going back to Reagan. The end result is the hollowing out of the middle/working class caused by stagnant wages, loss of safety nets, and shrinking job opportunities. These teabaggers are the same ones who support policies that allow rich people like Dick Armey to get away with paying a lower tax rate (based on percentage of income) than all the rest of us.
