David Gergen Conflates Mitt Romney's Record on Job Creation With His Father's
Host Christine Romans filling in for Eliot Spitzer on CNN's In the Arena allowed their regular network contributor David Gergen, who's always painted as some bastion of even handed "centrism" because of the fact that he's served as a political adviser for administrations on both sides of the aisle to get away with lying about Mitt Romney's record on job creation.
David Gergen did his best job to conflate what either other Mormon businesses have done to create jobs in America or what Mitt Romney's father might have done to create jobs to Mitt Romney, completely ignoring Mittens horrid record of destroying jobs at Bain Capital.
As I've already noted, it's really pitiful that Stephen Colbert did a better job of telling the truth about Romney's record on job creation than our corporate media has. Gergen just gave us another example here.
GERGEN: The other thing is that Mormon business people we know have created a lot of jobs. And including his father who I have known for 40 years who is a terrific guy. They come from very good family. But they are very, very good at creating jobs.
ROMANS: Well, that's a good point because jobs is what's so important here.

I am an idiot troll, easily PWND by the mod.
I think he meant Jews.
the over caffeinated cajun Chihuahua, and the rest of the merry idiots saying all that nonsensical nonsense nonstop. Why do people actually take any of this seriously?

Humpty Dumpty was pushed.
Jesus, Christine Romans is such a fucking tool. Is there a ignorance/stupidity test you have to pass to become a "reporter" for CNN?
You mean that he got away with this with absolutely no pushback whatsoever??? He flat out talks about OTHER people who did a good job, and then tries to connect Mitt to them in an area in which he did a truly godawful job just because they share an ethnicity. What was this woman thinking? Wasn't she listening?
It's like me talking about great Russian composers (Moussoursky, Rachmaninov, Stravinsky, Tchaikovsky) and trying to say that Stalin was therefore a connoisseur of the arts.
It has never been the job description of a Hedge Fund, or Private equity manager to create jobs.
Consolidate and purge jobs is what they do.
'Talk to the hand'
David Gergen needs a long rest. He should realize by now that the last thing America needs is a 'business man' in charge, least of all a slimy business man.

Hey friends, I've mentioned this a couple of times before: Gergen's mind has gone to almost complete mush.
Look, a few years back, he genuinely had a decent-enough perspective on things, hitting topics right on-the-button more often than not.
Now, he's simply become some poli-babbler, not interested in facts, spouting odd opinions that few could get behind, and faded into some cartoon-character hanging around 'cause CNN won't explain to him he's gone all abbablin'.
Gergen should be ignored. That is the kindest deed of all. Parsing his words for content and crux will waste your time.
He's not even worthy of ridicule.
