TPM summed up this segment from Tuesday's The Daily Show nicely -- Jon Stewart: GOP 'Loves' America But 'Hates' Most Of Its People (VIDEO):
Jon Stewart on Tuesday set his sights on Republicans' calls for Americans to "take this country back." And what do you know? It's happening now in anti-Wall Street protests in lower Manhattan and elsewhere. [...]
"Are there any other groups it's actually OK to pit americans against?" Stewart asked Like, say, labor unions, community organizers, activist judges, global warming activists and "gay folks who are living together."
"It must be tough for Republicans to love America so much, but hate three-quarters of the people living in it," Stewart said.
It's always great when Jon Stewart points out the contradictions and rank hypocrisy of so called "conservatives". When he does that, I derive reassurance that I'm not insane.

Reactionaries and their orc-ish supporters care not for the Society of America but only the status of the Dollar and its ability to ensure hegemony over the rights, freedoms, and, especially, the resources of the rest of the world. Should the vaunted dollar hit the skids, the conservative rats will be quick to jump to the next great economic power leaving the drooling, ignorant and intolerant bigots to fend for themselves in the 50 state wasteland that they were so willing to create as long as it suited their self-image of superiority and entitlement. When the plying field is thus leveled, these moronic creatures will finally know the meaning of minority!
