There is a local hospital that has fox in all the waiting rooms. The last time I was there I could not find a remote to change the channel so in a final act of futility I unpluged the set! It was the only way to shut off the insanity!

that the people working for FUX are just whores. By that I mean they do and say anything for money. I don't know why the producers at Fascist Friends think intelligent women are intimidating, but Gretchen is too willing to play any role to appease them.
This just supports my theory that FUX is the WWF of info-tainment. They have no real reporters, just actors that read scripts that target ignorant people who can't tolerate having their narrow world view challenged. Anyway, it's much cheaper to make shit up than to pay real reporters to do a competent job.

As a retired professor, I have been witness to universities becoming profit centers and grades have little if any hint at the intelligence level of a student.
If you fail or grade low to too many of your students you no longer are a professor in that school.
The mere fact that fox noise has the most viewers says it all about dumbed down America.
Capitalism will create a society that will dumb itself down in the name of patriotism and nationalism.
Before writing this I was watching a show called redeye on fox noise and they went on and on how America is the greatest and has done no wrong in the world and how the world is full of evil. Evil! Look into a mirror fox noise.
An imperialist country is the very definition of promoting evil and suffering in the world. We don’t have 720 military bases around the world and the CIA interfering with other countries political agenda to protect the world but to control the world and in many cases steal their resources. It is called protecting American interests and most Americans are all for it which makes them imperialists.
This country has caused more suffering around the world and within this country than any other country in the world in the last 60 years. Three major illegal wars for profits, lack of health care for millions of Americans, union busting, racism, overworked and cheap illegal labor, factory farming, mega costs for health care and insurance, prisons overflowing, torture camps, the list is long.
Patriotism can blind one to the reality of their country. As Jefferson knew so well that patriotism is much more than self-righteousness and arrogance.
Wonder if the folks at Faux News know about this piece. It's not just Gretchen that dumbs down. The entire network dumbs down to a particular type of audience. You might even say that Fox insults the intelligence of its viewers, but then that would only be true if their viewers had any intelligence to insult. The entire right wing in this country has been seriously dumbed down.
I don't know if there was ever a post (on C&L anyway) that said that the MSM spokes models were stupid.
We said they were bought and paid for and the sold their values and morals out to big business.
And we have said that they are doing harm to the American people by bringing us infotainment instead of actual news.
But stupid? Stupid like a Fox.
What fools the Fox viewers/ fans are , dumbest people on the planet . I do not understand how people can possibly be so friggin stupid , it is really beyond belief , like some thing out of the twilight zone series . The Fox propaganda network and the Republicans are well aware of how stupid their base is , off camera I am sure they all laugh about it and are amazed to this day with what they get away with and they do know exactly what they are doing .
We watched this. Funnier than hell. How does this woman live with herself? Or does she really care?
I have not seen a Miss America pageant since I moved out my mother's house many, many years ago. And even before then, I found it irrelevant. But I consider it inconceivable that Gretchen Carlson was the prettiest contestant that year. Now, I concede that playing the violin is an impressive talent. But please, please, please tell me she did not win Miss Congeniality.
