Personally, I don't mind the fact that Beck is swindling his listeners by getting them to invest in gold. As Keith said, it's no different then preachers swindling their flock for the promise of salvation. And that's a Constitutionally protected and tax-exempt right.

The only problem is that these people when faced with economic devastation will blame immigrants, liberals and anyone but their false prophets for their miserable existence. Faith over facts is a horrible way to live.
