I've never seen or heard of the movie, but after just reading about it, sounds like Lonesome Rhodes has a meltdown at the end of the film!

By the way, I read today that yesterday, Beck had as his guest some African American preacher from Dallas. This guy is another conspiracy nut who believes that Obama's health care plan has a plot to kill all black people. The guy was calling Obama's administration "Marxist," and Beck was eating it up.
Again, more lies and garbage coming from Beck's show, and, in this case, because the preacher is a black man, perhaps Beck is hoping he can get some credibility with the African American community.
Beck needs to be put in a straight jacket and hauled away.

Last week, I heard idiot conservative Mark Steyn, filling in for limpballs, talk about the socialized health care system in the U.K. He said that they are some 4000 hospital beds short for pregnant women. Therefore, he claims that women are having babies in alleys.
And, he blamed this on socialized medicine and warned that that's what would happen here if we get Obama's plan.
I don't really know what the situation is with hospital beds in the U.K., but even if true, it has nothing to do with socialized medicine. It has everything to do with either lack of planning, lack of money, or perhaps people just wanted to have a lot more babies.

You should hear Beck tonight. He is obsessing over the green jobs "czar" Van Johnson. This is a black man and Glenn twists things around using some of Johnson's own words to determine that Johnson and others are planning on taking all the white people's money and giving it to the African Americans. Then he plays a clip where Johnson is talking about the new and different environmental jobs and Beck attempts to make Johnson sound like he is talking about remaking society along racial basis instead of his actual intent. He also plays a clip where Johnson says the white man is spraying poison on people of color working in the farm fields. Glenn sees this as some sort of lie, when in truth it does happen and the Palm Beach Post did a series of articles a couple of years ago about the deformities in babies as a result of the family working in fields where dangerous insecticides were used. In this case the workers were primarily Mexican.
Beck has this new thing about him just being a nobody who no one likes but he is willing to be that person to get the truth out to America before it's too late.
The MF is stirring the pot to get all the bigots fired up just as hard as he can. There is no doubt in my mind that the cornerstone of his show is racism.

As mentioned, I hardly ever watch the idiot beck. I might turn him on a minute or two at a time. I did so last week 3 or 4 times over about a 2 day period.
Last week, just about every time I turned that SOB on, he was talking about Van Jones.
Howard Kurtz talked about this a bit on Sunday, basically asking why Beck was all over some low level guy. Kurtz pointed out that Van Jones co-founded Color of Change, which is the organization which has very successfully gotten close to 50 companies to pull their ads from Beck's show. And Kurtz asks why Beck doesn't mention this.
He's totally pissed at Van Jones because of the colorofchange campaign to have his sponsers drop him. He won't let up, no matter what an ass he looks like.

slightly related: Something odd I've noticed lately; every bank, family restarant and old folks home I've visited has installed a big flatscreen TV that always seems to be tuned into FOX News. Is this respocible for Fox's ridiculous high ratings, or is this part of the reich's scheme to keep the public misinformed?
This has been the reason for FOX's high ratings for the past 8 years! More public TVs are tuned to FOX than any other station, and that inflates their numbers.

I moved out of the big city about six years ago, and I 'm starting to see it more in the suburbs. The screens in the banks make me angry, since all the financial news is heavily skewed and almost always wrong, but TV screens in the restarants offend me the most. I've stopped taking my family out to eat at certain places because they insist on having this garbage on.

Hey Keith, to use the word anchor to describe Glenn Beck would imply that he is somehow involved in the business of delivering and or researching actual news. That's so far from the truth I don't even know where to begin. Unless.... you meant it in the context of his being an anchor which is dragging the Republicans down to the dark depths of the sea, down down through a crack in the earth's crust, through layer upon layer until finally they burn up in the earth's molten carbon core and are never heard from again.
