I'll be the new C-SPAN junkie....

I need a fix!!!!!!

Anyone else getting tired of Obama breaking campaign promises?

He just allowed Cheney off the hook in the Plame disute. We may never know what the DICK said to the FBI He also is askihng for yet another delay in releasing the Torture memo? M MWhat transparency? He's done nothing at all to stop Don't Ask Don't Ell. What a lying SOB! He's worse than BUSH!

I gave money I didn't have and campaigned for 12 months and for what? BUSH 2? Seriously, anyone else bothered by this trend?Well, from now on I'm not going to continue to keep my mouth shut. I will call him out every chance I get.

1st, Bush-2 wouldn't even acknowledge that health care reform is needed. Instead, head would be buried in sand, leaving thinking organ on display.

2nd, the Supreme Court nomination would be another Thomas or Scalia.

3rd, the problem extends way beyond Obama. When impeachment was "off the table" and a majority of Democrats were comfortable with that position, it showed a problem extending way beyond Obama.

The thing is, our media, who, in a thread elsewhere, sells its access to lobbyists, marginalized candidates like Kucinich and persuaded people that their choice was between two corporate owned lackeys. And make no mistake, if Obama wasn't a corporate owned (Goldman Sachs owned) lackey, we would have seen the Reverend Wright nightly in the last 2 months of the campaign.

So, we got what we voted for, the lesser of the two evils. Since the GOP seems to have driven off the rails, Obama was the lesser by far.

You're right on one thing here. We're going to have to hound, and hound these people, at least so long as net neutrality permits. At least, Obama is hound'able. I doubt McCain would give a shit.

I am also tired of talk, talk, talk, but no change in action!

His promises are falling like dominoes. That's why I refused to get caught up in the Obama hysteria. I wanted to wait and see what he would do. I mean, all of them make lavish promises. Do you think anyone who was honest with the people would really get anywhere? The American people have to be lied to. If a candidate spoke the truth he or she would be looked at as being neurotic or lacking confidence. I've lost faith completely in the 2-party system and to a large extent, the American people. But I've been conditioned to think about politics. It was all my parents, Aunts and Uncles ever talked about when I was growing up. Now I'm sick of it and I want to let go but it won't let go of me because I see the consequences of what the lawmakers do all around me. If I could call down fire and brimstone on all them, I would.

Damn, that was fast. Where did the time go?

and we get the licking .

My verrrry conservative Republican sister from central Minnesota HATES HIS GUTS... thinks he's the ANTI-CHRIST...

And the Hannity crowd is already calling him a CLOWN and a CHRONIC LIAR...

It's gonna be a BUMPY RIDE AL... so GO FOR IT! I think you're gonna be a GREAT SENATOR!

not an anti-christ , whats next a pinko lib , or worse a socialist shit where is big brother when you ( dont ) need them .

So tired of labels .

He's a socialist liberal gay latte-sipping illegal immigrant communist terrorist atheist pagan devil worshipper, who's also a muslim!!

don't be such a hater.

in 2006 so he could run for Senate.

Wouldn't it be hilarious if Steven Colbert moved his show home to South Carolina, and announced he was running against DeMint?

Al has been playing it very straight and serious in his campaign and throughout the recount. I keep hoping he'll pop up on Stewart or Colbert (or maybe Letterman or Conan) and crack everyone up now that he's in. Just a quick rundown on his plans to hold Senate hearings on Un-American Activities on Fox News and Talk Radio.
