Anderson Cooper Glosses Over Leaked RNC Memo
Anderson Cooper plays the "all sides are equal" game to explain this latest bit of crazy to come out of the RNC and I'm sorry Anderson, but Democrats do not act this badly as well and you cannot fairly compare what groups outside of the Democratic Party did on their own to anything that has come out of the DNC. When MoveOn just had one contribution with a Hitler reference that wasn't even chosen for their ad campaign, conservatives were going crazy and insisting Democrats denounce it and the same happened with their ad about Petraeus. If the DNC EVER did something like this we'd have been hearing breathless denouncements from both the Republicans and the Village press for months.
But when the RNC puts a Joker face on Obama and goes after Pelosi and Reid with similarly juvenile attacks, oh that's just politics as usual. Everyone does it. The double standard is well past getting old, but the media will never dare to call Republicans out for acting like petulant children, Anderson Cooper just being one more example here.
How upset can you get about those lame cartoons when the Repigs have done far worse things in the past? (Obama Bucks, anyone?)

I happened to be watching when Cooper made the false equivalency minimizing what the Repugs were doing at which time I promptly switched channels .There is a big difference , the Dems have never stooped to the level of the Repugs , not even close and when the Dems / the left have been less than dignified adults they at least had the truth and the facts behind them , the Repugs and the right ... their shit slinging , smearing and instigating , is pure racist and or based on absolute lies and fabrication , no low being too low , no boundary as to the absurdity and ridiculousness of their charges and claims and they are hurting and damaging the country . Cooper is going to say whatever his bosses tell him to say. If the Democrats had dealt with the Bush Administration the way the GOP is dealing with the Obama Administration now there would be more lawyers on them than flies on a sh*t wagon. Which makes me wonder, is Obama being to 'no drama' for his own good...or is he waiting for them to take enough rope to hang themselves? Just like it makes me wonder if the GOP has truly gone stark raving mad or is it some sort of scathingly brilliant plan to regain the majority and eventually the White House? may choose to gloss over the memo but there's no damn reason the Democrats have to do it during the next election cycle. I'm sure they have a pretty good idea who the likely Republican donors are since it is a matter of public record and they'd be foolish not to bring it to their attention early and often. A mailer highlighting the salient points would be well worth the effort and cost.
