As President Bush prepares to leave office, he had some words of caution for the Republican Party. Bush believes that Republicans should open-minded as they struggle to remake the party.
"It's very important for our party not to narrow its focus, not to become so inward looking that we drive people away from a philosophy that is compassionate and decent," said Bush.

I dont think anything can describe the republican`t war on reality better than that quote or its challenge to study the delusions of the Jr administration.
Bush is going to try EVERYTHING he can think of to make himself sound sensible and credible in these last few days and in the near future to try and get people (especially spineless Democrats) to forget the torturing, the rendition, the spying, the lying, the polluting, the corruption, etc, etc...

And what is this "compassion" word? How about "decent"? We might ask him to name one compassionate decent thing his party did over the last eight years.
