Dave N.: Bill O'Reilly sent out one of his ambush news crews, led by a young shaved-head punk named Dan Bank, to attack Nina Ginsberg, who is a legal counsel for the ACLU's John Adams Project, as she walked out of a drugstore.
She managed to ask him (without it being edited out) why he was confronting her while she was out doing her shopping. It's also clear that a substantial part of the conversation was cut, since it resumes when she is out at her car.
Mostly, she keeps pointing out that Bank's questions are based on factual falsehoods -- lies. Yet he keeps asking them anyway. Like a good Fox right-wing propaganda attack dog.

Yes, O'Reilly's "reporting" is despicable.
I was thinking the exact same thing. When it cut back to O'Reilly and he said, "Despicable", I thought, "Yes Bill, that is the perfect adjective for you and your band of idiot thugs - despicable".
I never once (before today) have I ever thought O'Reilly to be a source of truth, but he was 100% honest in saying that Dan Bank was despicable. - Way to go Bill, now we just need to get you to fire these clowns.
Calling all activists to cruise over to O'Reilly's home page and post every few minutes. Simply post the words "Andrea Mackris" and hit send as often as possible. If enough of us do this, we can give Billo a taste of what his lackeys do when they invade others' space.
And, how will Billo address this onslaught? He can't bring up Ms. Mackris' name without reminding his sycophants that he's a pervert.
Well, now, speaking of which, you could also post the words "The situation here for this kid looks to me to be a lot more fun than what he had under his old parents. He didn't have to go to school. He could run around and do whatever he wanted." to remind Billo's sycophants that Billo hasn't an ounce of credibility as a child advocate since he asserted that Shawn Hornbeck must have liked being held captive by a sexual deviant who perped on him for four years.
Please, let's all give Billo a taste of his own medicine--I suggest we do it at midnight, so that his techies won't scrub the posts before they're seen.

Where's a police officer when you need them for these kinds of FOX ambushing situations?? At least someone could've intervened and warded off these aggressive people.
To me, these confrontations rise to the level of harassment. These FNC people are interfering with a person's right to egress and ingress, to proceed on their way in their car (notice how Banks pushed the microphone between her and her car door, which she attempted to close). I wish just once one of those subjected to this behavior would file a private complaint against them! Either that, or start chattering about falafel and Andrea Mackris.
The punk kid "reporter" committed the crime of assault by behaving in a threatening manner and battery when he touched Ms. Ginsberg. In some other states, she could have exercised her so-called "Second Amendment rights" by putting a bullet between the idiot's eyes. I'd like to hear O'Reilly comment on that.

...FOX does some research to be sure the "mark" isn't into martial arts or carrying a weapon. Also, depending on the situation, a news crew may have one or two "goons" off camera in case things get out of hand.
While I must admit it would be satisfying to take down those punks, dialing 911 is much easier.
Let's see them try to explain to cops that the skinhead reporter dragging her out of her car was a legitimate news source not intimidating/harassing/assaulting her.
Then after the 911 call, you have public record of their harassment. Go for civil suits. It alone will not stop them, the but public humiliation of FOX the skinhead assault network probably is not too good for ratings.
These ambushers of FOX News seem to be just about as aggressive as Christian missionaries attempting to aggressively push Christianity down "non-believer's" throats. So threatening and it sure comes off as extortion!
Maybe Ginsburg can take this video as evidence she was ambushed and harassed and get a restraining order against all those who work at FNC.
What case are these ambushers trying to get on to, even though truth and logic are really not on their side??

The last time I watched O'Rally's circus, was the night he did a talking point memo attacking the Andrea Mackris "left-wing smear job."
The same one he spent millions of dollars on to make it go away - because he was innocent of course? As if a cheap-ass greedhead like O'Rally would give a penny away if he didn't have to.
Then with stern determination, he looked into the camera and said; "I shall never speak of this matter again!!!" He then immediately cut to a commercial, so he could hide under his desk.

The way Dan Bank was invading her space, she would've been more than justified in giving him a knuckle sandwich or worse.
I like the way he tries to compare the investigation into whether the CIA tortured a bunch of people and Cheney and gang outing Valery Plamme is somehow comparable. Plamme didn't break any laws and her career was ruined and a CIA operation(?) was destroyed over politics. No need to go into what condoning torture is.

So the beginning premise to set up the story is how bad it is to blow a CIA agent's cover? And now the outing of Plame was serious violation of a federal criminal statute?
As I listened to O'Reilly's set up, I was wondering about all of those "journalists" wandering around FOX News who have close and personal access to one of the key co-conspirators of the federal offense: his name is Karl Rove and he is on the payroll at your news organization.
I'm sure the journalists at FOX are lining up at Rove's door to get the inside scoop. Because this was a serious felony under federal law, right?

1. Identifying CIA agents who committed torture so that they can be named in a Bivens civil rights action = treason.
