OK, if the conservatives in this country are so morally bankrupt that they consider being against torture, being for the rule of law and supporting human rights a partisan issue now, I say we conduct a partisan investigation. Just as Fein stated, Civil Rights was a partisan issue.

Let this become a partisan issue and when we end up on the right side of history again it will be yet another issue the conservatives will have been exposed to the world on. Let them be mentioned in the same chapters of history books next to Charles Taylor, Slobodan Milošević, The KGB and all the other despotic, torturing and lawless regimes.

That said, the conservatives don't seem to mind being affiliated with the KKK, militias and secessionists so I doubt being known as lawless torturers would mean much in their Jesus-luvin' holier-than-thou brains anyway.

Just like in the health care debates, the only way conservatives like to "protect life" is by dropping bombs and killing doctors.
