Don Imus was allowed to call Sarah Palin a dope on Fox News? Is he trying to get himself fired already?

Well I love it when anybody calls Palin an idiot - but when a simpleton like Imus who also refers to Jimmy Carter as a "mean spirited little weasle..." well we can't take much joy in it. At least he argues with the Fox idiot... sheesh. I shouldn't even watch these FOX clips. they are so depressing.
I quit watching at the 1:18 mark. You really cant get past the introductory commentary on any network these days, not just FUX News either. The commentary is so vapid and purposely distracting that it makes one ill to listen to most of it.
What passes for discussion in this country is beyond the pale. Why Imus is considered anything other than an unabashed racist with a radio show is beyond me, but the same can be said for most of those behind a microphone lobbing darts at an Obama administration. And why did he think a Palin Presidency would have been better than an Obama one? Its what he voted for. What a typical rightwing fuckstick

It seems like there are a lot of Republicans who are ready to cut and run regarding the Palin. She was smart to quit the Governor gig because she will be an asterisk sooner rather than later. Just like most Republicans she has to make as many millions of $$$$$ as she can as quick as she can because she brings nothing to the conversation.

I'm sorry, Imus calling Jimmy Carter "mean spirited" immediately discounts any opinion, or frankly anything, that old coot belches out of his pie hole for the rest of eternity. Jimmy might be a lot of things, but mean spirited just ain't one of them.

"Mean Spirited"? Might as well call him a Fuji Apple or The Grand Canyon. Just doesn't make sense. At all. Is he thinking of some other president, Nixon maybe? Jimmy was a man who publicly admitted to feeling ashamed about being physically attracted to women -- and was mocked for it. I would think if you asked any American alive in the Carter presidency: "Is Jimmy too nice, just nice enough, or not very nice?", Imus would be the only one to pick choice C.

I guess Neil Cavuto didn't get the memo last July about Sarah Palin quitting her governor job. Despite what her mouthpiece Meg Stapleton says, and Fox News seems to echo, Sarah Palin is NOT the governor of Alaska. She's the former not-quite-first-term governor who quit to cash in on that 15 minutes.
And the way things look now, Rupert Murdoch has decided she's done the one thing he wanted her to do, flog and embarrass the United States in a communist land, and now he has no further use for her.
Rupert Murdoch evidently knows his tools -- and he immediately recognized Palin was too money-hungry and too stupid to realize she was a one-use tool.
She's also too dumb to realize she's been herded into a corner like a pig to slaughter with that book title, the huge printing for such a small audience, and the contentious history with nearly everyone she's ever come in contact with that she couldn't intimidate or suborn.
Sure, he can always be counted on to hurl a good insult, and is therefore mildly interesting - sometimes. But even a blind chicken gets a kernel of corn once in a while. That he voted for McCain negates whatever criticism he made of Palin. And that he stooped to going to work for Fox speaks volumes. Count on him to do more harm than good, even if he occasionally stumbles onto a truth.
Imus is a study in contradiction. Everything he says he contradicts in the same sentence. "She,s a dope, no no, she fine. The little rodent, oh I'm just kidding, but she is..." blah blah blah. Do you know that anyone in the Public's eye are open for criticism in the United States? It is part of freedom of speech or our first amendment rights even on TV and Radio. And that includes the President of the United States.
Did you also know they have tuners on your radios and televisions so you can change the channel?
Most of these comments are just downright disgusting in my eyes. There are plenty of left wing liberal channels you can watch for skewed news. Go there and support them. Because if you saw their ratings now, they will need you in the future.
