George W Bush was POTUS as of 20 January 2001 as I recall, although he was never legally elected in 2000, and then the GOP stole the 2004 elections. AFAIK, the office of POTUS is a full-time position, so W was President on 11 September 2001, although he seemed to believe that it was only a part-time job. The 09 August 2001 PDB which stated "OBL Determined to strike in the USA" was ignored.

George W Bush was POTUS before, during, and after Hurricane Katrina. It struck its deadly blow against a Democratic, largely minority community and was criminally (IMHO) ignored. And yet, a much less significant hurricane struck a largely Republican, largely caucasian State the following year, which drew an overwhelmingly supportive response. Of course, there was a Bush brother in charge of that state.

How did real estate mogul Silverstein gain the authority to command "Pull it!" regarding the demolition of WTC Building 7, and why, if he was only the recent lease-holder on property owned by the NYC Port Authority?

How was it that WTC 7 fell within its own footprint just like the North and South Twin Towers, all on 9/11/2001?

How was it that you permitted rescue, and then recovery operations, at the WTC without the wearing of proper respirator protection, in spite of the known hazards of both powdered concrete (silicosis) and powdered asbestos, which both of the Twin Towers were full of?

(Asbestos use was halted midway through the construction of the Twin Towers. The NYC Port Authority had unsuccessfully tried to sue their insurance carrier for several years in order to help defray the cost of decontaminating the Towers of asbestos.)

How is it that the WTC was never treated like a crime scene and forensicated - AFAIK the only plane crashes ever in the USA to never have the FAA, NTSB, FBI, or NYC police to investigate?

How is it that hundreds of thousands of tons of debris from the WTC were rapidly disposed of, even to the extent of shipping the steel overseas for recycling without preserving crime scene evidence?

How is it that the 50+ Million USD fund raised to help the survivors, families of victims, and the healthcare of the first responders/recovery team took over 7 years to disperse?
