Because they want to be able to say that terror happened under Obama's watch!

Of course! So Obama has a terrorist attack on his watch. They want 9/11 to be equal to Fort Hood. Well, they're not. Bush blew it. He (and Rice) had documents indicating an attack was imminent. They're main focus was on missiles in Poland, so they ignored it. Obama had no indication of Fort Hood being imminent, and Fort Hood wasn't at the WTC level.
