This is why news organizations need to have bloggers on staff
But the fascinating storyline in this scenario will be Pelosi's fate. Will, say, 220 House Democrats stay united and elect Pelosi speaker, or will enough conservative House Democrats break and elect a compromise Democrat as speaker? Even the threat of Democrats peeling off and working in collaboration with the Republicans to do so might be enough to encourage a serious challenge to Pelosi inside the Democratic caucus. For some reason Pelosi has a terrible relationship with the liberal blogs. There's a pretty decent chance liberal bloggers could start a grassroots effort to get behind Emanuel for speaker.
This is so off the wall I wouldn't know where to start.

More allegations of Voter Fraud--and guess which party it favors?

Early voting runs through Friday, November 3rd.
KFDM continues to get complaints from Jefferson County voters who say the electronic voting machines are not registering their votes correctly.
Friday night, KFDM reported about people who had cast straight Democratic ticket ballots, but the touch-screen machines indicated they had voted a straight Republican ticket.Some of those voters including Lamar University professor, Dr. Bruce Drury, believe the problem is a programming error.
Saturday, KFDM spoke to another voter who says it's not just happening with straight ticket voting, he says it's happening on individual races as well, Jerry Stopher told us when he voted for a Democrat, the Republican's name was highlighted. Read on...

The mainstream media never ceases to amaze. They have been attacking Kerry left and right for his comments, yet they never once attacked Bush for making jokes about the very reason we have lost over 2,800 soldiers. John reminded me of this yesterday with his post. After being reminded, I decided to take my first stab at throwing together a somewhat political ad:

Today the RNC released their own ad attacking Kerry and demanding an apology. Perhaps the DNC should release an ad demanding an apology from Bush for his joke about the WMDs two years ago.
